China One — Restaurant in Riverdale

Let me let y’all know about this Chinese spot!!! I originally moved here being a native New Yorker and had a taste for some chicken and broccoli. Seemed like the other restaurants wasn’t hitting. I decided to give them a try after being in GA for about 2 months. Everything about them is customer service. Friendly welcomes, patience and most importantly FRESH and HOT food. They honestly are the only ones I go to and been loyal to from the time I moved here back in 2017. Not a buffet not another Chinese restaurant just China One. I have now relocated to another part of GA after living in Clayton county for about two years and I drive to them and spend my money with them faithfully for that taste that I want. If y’all don’t know now y’all know (in the words of Biggie Small) I totally approve and stand behind this restaurant especially if I’m driving 45 to an hour out just to get me my lunch special which if y’all go between the hours of 10-3:30 only available Tuesday thru Friday they offer that same quality food they make on a regular for a very affordable price and they hook the plates up. They know me on a family level! 🤣 When I walk in they know me for the no bamboo shoot and extra sauce on the side. Making me feel good because I am a committed woman. Glad my family got food from here. It was excellent. My husband gotten pepper steak and onion, our son gotten the sweet and sour chicken and I gotten the sesame chicken. Next time we order from there and if we get the same thing gonna ask for less veggies in the pepper steak and onion and more steak. Gonna order the sweat and sour with no rice. Lol This Chinese food was 100% better then when we had Chinese food from Legend Cafe. We ordered from grub hub or one of those apps. Everything tasted horrible and spent a lot of money. Called them to tell them the sesame chicken didn't look nor tasted like sesame chicken. It was try, no sesame seeds and wasn't sweet at all. The rice was even horrible. My husband was talking to the guy that answered and the guy was extremely rude. Trying to tell him about the sesame chicken being all wrong, but as soon as my husband said that we order from grub hub he basically said whatever was wrong that its there fault. He didn't let my husband tell him that the food was horrible and wrong. I was saying how can it be grub hubs fault they didn't cook our food. They placed the order...

Anybody who says the food here is mediocre or not good knows nothing about good Chinese food. I was raised in New England area and if a restaurant is to do business here it must compete with outstanding traditional restaurants established in the area. If they can’t they simply fail because the people of this area have adapted taste buds for the best Chinese, Italian etc., foods of the region. It’s very competitive up north .
