Pizza Shack — Restaurant in Georgia

OKAY! Where do I even start here...here we go! First off, never ever come to this establishment! Not just trivia night, I'm just going to go ahead and say any night! The experience was horrible and my food wasn't really that good. To describe the experience, we had a party of 12, which is a pretty big party, BUT if you are about your customers and how they experience your establishment, service needs to be on point. Well in retrospect, the service was pretty bad. The waitresses were bringing out the incorrect food asking who ordered what, then they were bringing out food that we ordered but giving it to the wrong people at the table saying that was what they ordered. Upon checking the food, the dish they gave several of us was cold, burnt, or just not good at all. Then the owner came over and asked us, "so, what exactly is wrong with your order?" We explained that our friend did not receive his plate and they had to go back and reorder it and cook it after he waited close to 45min-1hour. Everyone finished their food and watched him eat. After everyone finished eating, the waitress explained that she had to come back and retake everyone's order to get us our tickets to pay. After about 15 minutes of doing that she left, and then about that time she can back and asked us if we were ready for our tickets, which we thought she was bringing out to us in the first place. Well after 30 minutes of waiting, still no tickets. Owner approaches us and says, "is there something else y'all needed?" We said, we're just waiting on our tickets because we have been waiting for 30 minutes. Owner says with an attitude, "it takes a while to split the tickets!" (Doesn't take this long lady). Another 15 minutes pass, we stand up and finally the owner comes back with our tickets. Upon dispersing the tickets, they also got that wrong and tried charging us for our friends order that they got wrong. With a heavy attitude, owner say, "I guess I will pay for that too!".....everyone expected our tickets to be discounted because everything came out either wrong, overcooked or cold, but this was not the case and everyone paid full price for their meals. For this to be my first experience, I will not be back! Especially, with the owner not being very customer friendly! Adios,...

My experience is similar to the recent reviews related to customer service or lack thereof. My son and I came in for lunch and after not being acknowledged, proceeded to seat ourselves. This was my first time visiting and I didn’t see any signs giving direction to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. I saw one server who had walked past us multiple times and then stopped to chat with some friends who were also customers. After about 5 minutes I walked up to the counter and asked her if I needed to order before sitting down. She responded with such a snarky attitude “no, your server is doing something, you are supposed to wait to be seated.” I was a little taken back and said, well there is not sign to which she responded there is a big sign. I had to take a moment as I wanted to go into parental mode and ask this young lady if she was ever taught manners, however, I asked her if she was being rude and she said no I’m just telling you. I paused and went and sat down. Immediately after, I caught her looking at me then go to the table where her friends were and at the exact same time they all turn their heads to look at me. I should have left, but my son really wanted to try their pizza. I work in operations and understand being short staffed, that is not an excuse for the team to display poor customer service. If anything, being short staffed and understanding customers might have longer wait times is an opportunity to ensure you have top notch customer service. I will say, our server was great and the food was really good. I will return as I want to give this place another chance. I hope whomever reads this review, acknowledges my experience and uses it as a training...

Went there this evening with a group for bike night. We got there at around 6:15 to 6:30. We ordered our meal and mingled until it was ready. We waited. And we waited, and waited. Meanwhile, 3 tables came in, ate, paid and left....We had still not gotten our dinner. An hour and a half later, I inquired about our dinner. I was told it would be out in 10 minutes. 2 HOURS later we finally got our food. We ordered a meat lovers pizza with onions, mushrooms and green peppers extra. After a 2 hour wait, our pizza came with onions, mushrooms and green peppers... however, there was no meat on the meat lovers pizza lol We were told that we would get a rush order on the correct pizza and it would be ready in 7 minutes. Really?? 2 hours waiting and you can have it done in 7 minutes?? Not... 20 minutes later, we received our pizza... while our party was paying. So 2 1/2 hours later, we took our pizza home in a to go box. At this point, a manager should have visited our table. It was burnt and cold by the time we ate the pizza that we ordered at 6:30...at 9:30 pm. Total waste of a hard earned $40... Great bike night, but the service, prompt delivery of a hot meal and an almost 3 hour wait while everyone around us is served will...
