Rose's Tacos - riverdale — Restaurant in Georgia

My husband and I took a chance with Rose's tonight with the mind to get a good meal on the way home from an event while also supporting our local community restaurants not always the national corporate chains. Happy to report that we were not disappointed! We both ordered the Whole Spicy Fried Tilapia / Mojarra a La Diabla to go at the bar by a lovely young waitress who was friendly, polite and helpful. The dining area and bathrooms were clean and neat. The place is modest nothing fancy but for good service, food and drinks imo beat any fancy place for me. The wait was not long, we watched TV from several big screens on the walls and the food was ready in just maybe 15min. We got home 10 minutes later and the food was still hot and very delicious. Fish was fresh and rice was satisfying. The tortillas were wheat which I liked but had a slight kitchen odor flavor to them idk maybe im just not used to wheat tortillas but I ate mine anyways my husband did not. The whole fried fish was meaty and divine. Such good flavor from the sauce oh my goodness not too spicy more flavorful. We will definitely visit them again and perhaps try a margarita or two as I had checked a few out as we were leaving. They were looking really...

This is the 2nd time ive ordered (to go) from Rose's. The food was tasty....HOWEVER..I was very disappointed in that the 1rst & 2nd time i ordered, i requested extra cheese and extra sourcream on my burrito..and paid extra for it, and didnt get it. The first time, i ordered a buritto over the phone, and when i got home, it didnt have any sourcream. So i figured...ok, maybe they forgot. The second time i ordered i went in, ordered another buritto..and specifically told them about the last incident (no sourcream) and requested and paid extra, again. I asked several times...before leaving.." Did they add EXTRA sourcream. She said yes! Took it home, bit into it....no sourcream! Got to almost the end of the burrito..and there was less than half a teaspoon in the bottom corner of the burrito! 😐 I had to call them, spoke to the cook and made a complaint. The cook said they would give me free sourcream on the side next time. Probly...

I had someone pick it up for me, so maybe that’s the reason why it isn’t so good?? I’m not sure but I had steak tacos, birria tacos, steak burrito and flan. The only thing I liked was the flan, the birria tacos were soggy not like in everyone else’s reviews. I put the order in round 9 and they closed at 10 so maybe it was just the last batch and they didn’t care? I asked for extra limes n salsa verde which they forgot which is ok but they also forgot the consumé so I was jus eating soggy tacos T_T the only thing that made it better was the dry limes I had to murder to get some juice out of. I’m not going to say I don’t recommend them cause maybe I just went at the wrong time. From the other reviews they look like they have potential or others are just lying.
