Out of 5 this place has got to be a 1! While me and my lady was in there ordering our food, one of the cooks walked out of the kitchen and went outside to cut up with his friends! The guy taking the order told him he needed to drop a couple of wings so he came back in after giving his buddies a couple of pounds and not even washing his hands, to drop the chicken! Feeling Leary I then went on to order my 2pc whiting and the order taker said to me that we don’t have anymore whiting , they are gone to get more now but we have catfish which was $18.99 for 2 pcs compared to 10.99 for the whiting which I could see that was a move to upsell me the more expensive meal! Ok our order was made and we sat, and sat, and sat! By this point we had sat about 45 mins and still no one had come with the whiting fish nor was our order ready yet! After about an hour we still hadn’t gotten out order so I asked the guy how long and he said not long bc the size of the wings he makes sure they are well done!!! Hmmmm! So after twiddling my thumbs a bit our order was up! So we grabbed it and went to the car to see if our meal was edible! Upon opening the top the smell was ok! Now the taste test, I bit off a corner of the fish and it was well seasoned but after looking down in my plate there was so much fish grease that you might have thought it was gravy! After biting into the yams , I could not taste them bc they were microwaved so long and so hot, that steam was coming from my mouth and burnt my tongue! Then a scoop of Mac n cheese and oh wow, this mess was bland tasted like hard cheddar and card board! And by this point still no one had come with the whiting! I go there all the time because the food is always outstanding 👌🏿 but haven't been back for a few days because of the customer service which is great most of the time. But a few days ago the guy was the cashier and gave my wife and I order to another customer on accident which I'm pretty sure that happens sometimes but it's the way he handled the situation that turned us away from going back. He walked the parking lot looking for the customer that he given the wrong order for about 5-7 minutes then came back in and tried to give us the other customer order knowing it wasn't ours, but when the customer returned about maybe 10 minutes later because the customer opened the food and noticed it wasn't theirs, the guy/cashier try to give us the opened food instead of trashing it and making us a new order😮😡!!!! THATS WHAT TURNED ME AWAY EVEN THOUGH THE FOOD IS GREAT! I just feel like once the food leaves your sight 👀👀/establishment in the hands of the wrong customer not to mention been opened just make the customer that didn't receive their order a...

My review is beyond late but I had to still stop by. I went here on a recommendation, it was about a 30 min drive from where I stay so I was really nervous about wasting my time, gas, and money lol… BUTTTTT I was not disappointed upon arrival. Service was quick, pleasant, took about 10-15 to get our food; it was hot and fresh. I got to meet one of the owners (or family of) and they were easygoing, humble people. The food was good! We got the Turkey wing meal and the Meatloaf meal (I couldn’t take the best pics of the meatloaf plate cause my mom was ready to chow down lol), we sat and ate a bit before taking it home to devour.
