As for the culinary journey, I was honored with the opportunity to enjoy a SEVEN-COURSE MEAL personally prepared by Chef Andres himself. It felt like Christmas each time Chef Andres walked to our table to unveil his culinary masterpieces. Each dish showcased the chef's unparalleled creativity and commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients. From the delicate flavors of the amuse-bouche to the decadent finale of the dessert course, every bite was a symphony of taste and texture.
The following highlights left an indelible mark on our palates. The presentation of these dishes were a work of art, further elevating the sensory experience.
The wait service was also impeccable, with each staff member (Gianna, Estefany, Mandiza, and Mr. Richards) displaying a genuine passion for hospitality. From the sommelier's expert wine pairings to the server's attentive care, every detail was meticulously attended to, enhancing our dining experience.
Tavola transcended mere sustenance; it was a transcendent experience that tantalized the senses and left a lasting impression. For those seeking a culinary journey unlike any other, Tavola is undoubtedly a five-star, five-diamond gem...
Read moremy stepmom and i had a GREAT experience here. we were slightly bothered that we were literally right next to where the wait staff would ring in orders and leave dishes, so we asked to move and they immediately accommodated. the caesar salad was amazing. very fresh and the croutons! don’t get me started. we split the cresto degallo and branzino, which they split for us. 4 bowls total, 2 each. exactly what we wanted. the ambiance was great, the BEST bar (anna and amy were incredible). the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the dessert. im more of a fresh and light dessert, citrusy and sour rather than super sweet, but the lemoncelli skin was extremely hard to cut and UNBELIEVABLY sour. like even more sour than if i’d just eaten a raw lemon. the crumble topping and filling was great, but the lemon peel was genuinely too much to eat and i had to spit it out, which is very unlike me. that’s the only issue i account for. excellent and attentive wait staff, beautiful bar and any drink you can think of, delicious and fresh food, and a great view of the river. overall a great restaurant, and definitely on par with the rest of the nice restaurants on ssi...
Read moreWe stayed at The Cloisters Sea Island and our last dinner was the best - Tavola. On the main lobby level with a romantic seating area overlooking one of their gorgeous, landscaped courtyard gardens. The concierge booked our table for two at 7 pm (thank you). The host and manager greeted us and we were quickly seated on the quiet dimly lit garden terrace (indoor) dining room. Our server was superb and had just the right amount of checking. He was helpful with our wine order and entrees. We opted for their warm Olive bread and Balsamic vinegar dip as our appetizer - wonderful warm Italian flavors. For dinner we both opted for two Tavola fresh Chicken Parmigiana with breaded chicken breast, Pomodoro, and Fettuccini Alfredo - it was delicious and our best dinner during our whole stay. For desert we had an assortment of Sorbet which capped off a fantastic dinner experience. Next stay at The Cloister's Sea Island Tavola will be our first dinner...
