Tonight I visited Tribuzio's Grille and order a medium well burger. The first burger was burned, so I asked for the manager and explained that my burger should have been medium well. He offered to have another made. The attach picture is the burger that was supposed to replace my previously burned burger. As you can see it was also burned. Note, the outside was burned, while the inside was pink! I asked for the manager a second time and it took him much longer to arrive. When he arrived and I showed him my burger, I was told that they grill their burgers. My friend shared that we were in the night before and her burger was not burned. As a matter of fact, I decided to get a burger tonight based on the looks of her burger yesterday. The manger was apathetic, but removed the item from my bill. However 1it should be noted that a grilled burger is not the same as burned burger! Yesterday, I would have rated my meal 4 stars as my reuben and coleslaw were good which why we returned tonight. I would rate today's burger and the way the situation was handled -3 stars.

I am not one to complain but this was the worst $120 I spent while on the island. We waited almost 30 minutes before the waitress came. It took another 25 minutes for the food to come out, which wasn’t terribly unreasonable. But the food was anything but savory. I got the spinach salad with a crab cake. Half of the spinach was rotten and the crab cake was as inedible. It tasted rancid. My daughter got the loaded nachos which were very bland and the ground beef had no taco seasoning or flavor. The others food was just meh. Our waitress was scarce most of the time and only came to check on us a couple of times. We had to wait with empty glasses for most of our meal and were told they were having to brew more tea. While the salad was taken off the ticket after the waitress took it back to the kitchen and handed it off to what looked to be a manager, there was no apology or acknowledgement of it. After an hour and a half, we finally got our card back so we could leave. Worst dining experience I’ve had in a looooooong time.

This is inside the golf club so I really was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised when we ate here. I had the Char-Grilled Salad, a 1/2 head of artisan romaine lettuce charred in the grille, with grilled lemon pepper tuna, green beans, tomato, Kalamata olives, pickled onions and parmesan croutons. A very heart healthy meal and miles above what I was expecting from the environment. They had live music on the outside patio, also better than expected. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Jekyll.

Wanted to love this place. We spent $32 on a ribeye that was inedible, it was hard to find any meat on it, it was mostly fat and another $20 on a NY Strip. Both steaks had burnt black char from obviously an unclean grill that hadn’t been scraped. It left a horrible taste in our mouths. We don’t know of another place where we have had steaks this bad.. oysters were good though. Won’t be back Edit to add that we didn’t even order the ribeye, we wanted the ribeye lomein, but ended up with ribeye that wasn’t edible.
