So last night we go in to eat because I wanted a breakfast for dinner. I should have just gone across the street to Huddle House like I originally planned to, but because Waffle House is on the side of the road we were on it was just easier. Our server, Luke, was not friendly about taking the order. He said are you ready to order when he walked up to the table. Mind you we had literally just sat down. So I ordered the all star breakfast like I always do and asked for my eggs to be put in the bowl with my grits. Simple request. Well the waffle came first along with the sausage, that's normal.. can't get a whole.meal all together there.. has to be in pieces. So anyway I start buttering my waffle and notice it's burnt... I didn't come for a burnt waffle. Then I notice the sausage is cooked to the point they should have just been called jerky. So Luke brings the chicken dinner plate to my boyfriend that he already had to ask if it was a bacon chicken sandhe wanted or the dinner... We order the dinner not a sandwich... So he repeated hos order to Luke. Luke brings back a plate with chicken that looked burnt but in fact that was just how much pepper the cool put on the chicken. My boyfriend ate it anyway. I sent the waffle and sausage back and refused a remake. Was told my eggs and grits would be our soon because the cook messed up and miss understood what Luke had told him so he cooked it wrong. At this point I'm to mad to even eat but ate the eggs and grits that were not put in the same bowl as asked and never for my toast. So I look at the ticket to see what he charged us for and when I brought it to Luke's attention he proceeded to argue with me...then says oh wait yeah you're right. I said well yeah I know I am because I read the menu... On top of it all it was colder in the restaurant than it was outside which led to the food becoming cold within minutes of getting it ... By far worst waffle hour experience ever.. and yes I know you can't have high expectations with any...
Read moreOn Wednesday March 17th, my wife, 5-year-old daughter, and myself visited Waffle House store #888 in Newnan, Georgia for a late breakfast/lunch. We placed our food order and when then server returned with our order there were some small incorrection which were resolved with no issue. The main food issue we had was my daughter’s bacon was not thoroughly cooked to the point it was still raw. I asked if they could put the bacon back on the grill to continue cooking it. When the bacon was returned it was so burnt that you could not touch it without it turning to ashy crumbs. A new order was requested. Following this issue, a black hair was found in the cheese and eggs and at that point the frustration was setting in. After discussing the issue with the server, the food in question was removed from the bill. Needless to say, the quality of food was far below expectations.
To top off an already horrible experience, on the way out of the facility my daughter slipped and fell bruising her elbow. The floor appeared to be wet but was more of an oily residue from using the same mop in the lobby and kitchen areas.
The food safety risks from cross contamination of cleaning utensils and the consumption of raw or uncooked foods along with the people safety risks of the oily/wet floor with no signage must be addressed. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at any...
Read moreWaffle House is a beloved American diner chain, known for its iconic yellow signage and, of course, its signature waffles. This no-frills restaurant has been a staple of Southern cuisine for decades, and for good reason.
One of the standout features of Waffle House is its consistency. No matter which location you visit, you can expect the same menu, the same friendly service, and the same classic diner ambiance. The menu offers a wide range of options beyond waffles, including eggs, hash browns, burgers, and more, all available 24/7. This makes Waffle House a go-to spot for late-night cravings or early morning breakfast.
The waffles themselves are a highlight. They are golden, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, served with a choice of toppings like syrup, chocolate chips, or fruit. The hash browns, cooked to perfection, are another fan favorite, and you can customize them to your liking.
Waffle House's affordability and quick service are also worth mentioning. It's a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on taste. The open kitchen layout lets you watch the skilled grill operators in action, adding to the diner's charm.
In conclusion, Waffle House is a quintessential American diner offering comfort food at its best. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, it's a reliable choice for a satisfying meal any...
