Fast food and truck stops is my daily life. Stopped at this Wendy's to get a bite to eat, and it was probably one of the worst ones I've been to. The young kid at the register moved like molasses, making it completely obvious he would rather be anywhere but there. I came in at the end of dinner rush. There were six people ahead of me and the gentlemen next to me said he had been waiting in line for 8-10 minutes. The delay wasn't lack of staff as you could clearly see enough staff in the cooking areas. The delay wasn't a long drive-thru taking priority. The delay was the young kid at the register who didn't want to be at the register (he kept finding excuses to walk away after every customer), and you could tell he was not properly trained. Several times I watched him leave to go get the young lady in the manager shirt to ask what to do on the register. There needs to be some retraining here and please get that kid off the register. He doesn't want to be there and he makes...
Read moreWorst Wendy's I have ever been too. I have traveled a lot and this has been the worst store ever. It was not busy for a truck stop restaurant at all, yet there was folks waiting for their orders. I placed my order and went to make my drink and they were completely out of iced tea. The excuse was we are a single operating store. What the heck does that mean? Seriously! Then I get my order to go and my sandwich was absolutely horrible. First off, I ordered and paid for bacon added to my sandwich (missing). One dollar gone, back on the highway and wasn't turning around to go back. Then the sandwich was covered with so much mayo that it was dripping like a leaky faucet. Sad waste of time and money. By the way, I am sure I am not the only one that paid for bacon (or something else) added to my sandwich and did not get it so why were they so short on tea. They market it as fresh brewed and she (manager) said she was trying to get some...
Read moreIt was the worst food I have ever had at ANY Wendy's fast food restaurant . If I had eaten there first I would never stop at a Wendy's ever again. We had their new Asiago chicken sandwich and the Asiago bacon fries . It cost us $18 + for cold fries and the chicken sandwich was freezer burnt , over fried, and so dried out that I had to open the bun to see if it was meat or a chunk of wood I was chewing on. That made me sick. My awesome husband took it up to the register and they did look at it and agreed to replaced it , so he ordered me a loaded cheese burger, now thinking this has to taste much better "NOT" we both took a bite and threw that away and went over to the Dunkin Donut in the same building and tried a couple of their donuts NOW THAT WAS A GREAT DONUT. Thank you Dunkin Donut for taking the horrible taste of Wendy's out...
