Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Georgia

I've only been in this Zaxby's location twice and both times before it was all right. I suggested we come today because my partner had never been to this location, and now I wish we didn't. The food was fine. It came out pretty fast. I asked for at least 3 of my chicken tenders to be tossed in a sauce, and they said no. OK, I can get over that. No big deal, but when we received our food, it was placed on a filthy tray with food still on it, and at least half of the tables in the restaurant were not cleaned off. The trash cans were overflowing, and the bathroom was not very clean. As a matter of fact, we had to fight just to get toilet paper out of the holder. It was not busy, and there were plenty of people behind the counter that someone could have gone out and changed the trash and started wiping down tables. My partner went to talk to the manager about receiving our food on a filthy tray, and she made excuses as to how it could have possibly gotten that way and why we were served our food on it. The manager made a snide comment to my partner about them wiping their trays, which one girl was doing at the time. That does not excuse putting food on the filthy tray and sending it out or the fact there are 3 people at the counter and when there's no customers and they are standing around talking and not cleaning off tables or taking out trash or even checking the bathrooms. The manager also mentioned to my partner that they run their crew a different way here because they are not a corporate store. So obviously, they must be franchised. Does that mean corporate stores have a higher standard than franchise stores? We will not be back. Used to love this location. We were so happy to have zaxbys that had good food and service. Here the last few months, this location has had a steady decline. The food is typically incorrect, the sauces are incorrect or not given at all. We go today and get a 6 pc chicken finger plate. The food was just haphazardly thrown into the container so the toast was under the sauced tenders just soggy and gross. The fries are undercooked and not seasoned at all. They’re soggy and gross. The chicken tenders had a piece of something that definitely isn’t chicken in it (photos will be provided). This isn’t quality, it’s ridiculous. I feel like my money was stolen since I paid for the food but feel way too grossed out to eat it. I will never be back to this location, this was the last straw. And I will warn others away from this location as well. Maybe try a zaxbys outside of griffin as this town seems to have an issue with customer service and getting orders correct. All in all, I would say it isn’t worth the money. If you’re spending around $30 for two people to eat, choose somewhere else. This place isn’t hit or miss, it is just consistently MISS. It also makes me sad as zaxbys is one of my faves, and I tried to give them sooooo many chances. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this location....

I came through here on 10/11/2024. The order was taken at 6:20 on receipt. When I ordered, I was informed they were out of chicken, and there would be a wait, I then asked how long it would be because I was ordering cooked to order anyway. she then just asked what the order was. I ordered 2 chicken bacon ranch loaded fries. There were several cars in front of me but after I got to the window I still waited which wasn't a problem but after receiving my order the fries were cold and maybe 3 pieces of chicken (not whole cut up strips) on both with a slice of bacon thrown on top so I inform them of the error and they ask me to wait again which I did because me and my mom really wanted them then a young man comes back out with some warm fries with a chicken tender barely cut up and no ranch no cheese. there are supposed to be 3 tenders on each. I have never experienced bad service at this location, and that's why I usually stop here when I'm in the area. The fries were terrible. The chicken wasn't eatable it was so tough you couldn't even pull it apart. We had to toss it all. I wish I had taken a picture.
