Tried this place for lunch yesterday since we were in the Germantown Hills area. Seated immediately. Then waited for 7 minutes before one of the waitresses came by and said our waitress was checking people out at the cash register. She then went into a lengthy explanation of why she could not take our order--"she and the other waitress alternate customers rather than have assigned areas because they think that is more fair!" Finally, after a longer wait, she came over and took our order and put Val (the other waitress's name on the ticket) but evidently did not tell Val. We both ordered Larry's Special (pancakes with cheesecake filing and blueberries and bacon). The cook set plain pancakes in the window where they proceeded to set for another 4 minutes. I finally said loudly "I believe that is our order!" Val, who had not washed her hands after handling money, credit cards, and tickets for several individuals at the cash register, went back and took the pancakes down. She then proceeded to lift the pancakes with her hands and put cheesecake filing between them, and added the blueberries, etc. She had taken payment, made a pot of coffee, etc. without washing her hands! Then handled our food! Why wasn't the filing and blueberries added in the kitchen by the cook? Needless, to say, the food was stone cold when delivered to our table--even the bacon. The pancakes were so bland they were inedible! Even though they were not busy, no one stopped by the table to see if we needed anything else. I had to ask the man who was busing...

Went to the Buttermilk Cafe on Father’s Day last Sunday. My kids wanted to buy dad breakfast. They were quite busy as to be expected but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. The server was fairly prompt on getting to us and taking our orders. After a normal wait time we received 3 out of the 5 meals we ordered and were told the rest would be right up, this was not the case at all. The waitress returned several times each with the same tale of how our missing meals would be up soon. Then she started telling us about her eye surgery like this might of have an effect on why our meals were forgotten, but she claimed she wrote them on the ticket. Finally one meal came, but incomplete and with another promise that the rest would be up soon. Nope…not soon at all. Finally after about 15 minutes and the other meals eaten, the rest of that meal came but not the last, again with the usual “it will be right up” nope again. The last meal took forever and still wasn’t made correctly as the waitress blamed the busy cooks for all the issues. In the mean time where is the manager when all this is happening. We took the last meal to go and were not charged but the damage was done. This is a nice little place in my neighborhood but it will be quite some time before we return if at all. This all boils down to bad management as these issues should have been taken care of immediately once the server was missing whole...

Food was really good but our experience was ruined when I tried to scoot my chair closer to the table and pinched the pad of my finger so hard I ended up with a 1/2" cut where my finger popped from being pinched so hard. Waitress had to give me multiple bandaids as I bled through them. When I apologized for making a scene, the waitress told me it has happened before and it will likely happen again. If you go, don't touch the chairs - ask for a booth, it's safer that way. The menus were also badly damaged and the prices had been rewritten over white-out making it difficult to read. It's clear management does not care about this place. The boxwood plant wall was actively falling down and it would have been awful for a plastic plant to end up...

Country Skillet with country fried steak was delicious! So many good things on the menu I’d love to try, will be back soon! Came on a Sunday morning around 9:00 for breakfast and super busy, all the tables were filled and a short 10-15 minute wait. The hashbrowns here are incredible and I’d say they’re the best I’ve had. My gf had an omelette with bacon and feta cheese and said it was the best omelette she’s ever had. Next time I’m trying the pancakes!! Saw lots of delicious looking pancakes being served to other guests and I have to try those. Pretty sure you won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu here!

Great food! Great portions! Great low price! Celiac friendly! We took our 7 month to his first restaurant and he loved the scrambled eggs. My wife is celiac and not only did she say the gluten free food was amazing but the staff was very friendly about it. You can tell that the staff is a team and will get you your food in a timely manner. The only downfall for this place is that its so good they are popular and it is a bit small. Especially now with covid and social distancing rules make sure you call ahead and check availability because it may be a wait to sit down. Overall very worth it!

This is a cute little place with a lot of options. We ordered a few different items on the menu, but the 2 times we've been in, they have run out of fries!! And the fries are REALLY good! We ordered an omelet, a chicken fajita skillet, a Buffalo chicken burger, cheese burger, oatmeal, cheese curds, onion rings, and more. They have Pepsi products. The food was all delicious. We enjoyed our experience. The place was packed and a little crowded. So it was loud in there and hard to hold a conversation. There is plenty of parking. I would say there is an area that an RV could park in.
