McDonald's — Restaurant in Gilbert

I went here a couple days ago after school with my 19yr old sister, and my 6yr old brother. After eating, my brother wanted us to play with him in the play place, so we did. (This is allowed, very well-known that it is. Also- nobody else was in the play place.) While we were in there, one of the workers said since we were over 12, he couldn't have us in there. Which- is kind of ridiculous, but we started getting out anyways. We didn't want our brother playing in there alone, and it took us around 3 minutes to get him out. Which is, mind you, a very short amount of time to get a 6yr old out of a play place. It only took such a little amount of time because he discovered he had to go to the bathroom.

After my sister took him to the bathroom, and I was sitting in the dining area next to the play place waiting for them..a manager comes up to me and tells me I need to LEAVE, because we didn't get out of the play place when we were asked. Which is utterly ridiculous by the way, but I would have left if not for the fact it was dark outside- and I am a 15 year old girl. My siblings were in the bathroom and my older sister doesn't have a phone. I told the manager I couldn't leave, and she kept saying I had to or she would CALL THE POLICE. eventually, my sister got back and asked what was happening. My sister was confused and kept trying to talk to the manager saying that we just need to wait for our mom who was on the way, but the manager just left and called the cops. We also kept trying to ask for her name and she kept saying "you're gonna wait here for the police to come." She, an adult, also told me, a child, that I was acting like I was better than her. I said I dont think I'm better than her. She also went "what, were you stuck to the seat?" When we were trying to talk about why I could not just leave. So we talked to the police, and they waited outside with us for our parents to get here, and then they left. We didn't get a trespass, but we aren't coming back anyway. 💀 Food was good, so I have nothing to say about it. But other reviews seem to have a LOT of negative things to say about food. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with Bacon (no onions), six hamburger patties, a small fry, and a strawberry shake. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect — I received a Quarter Pounder with onions, and everything was extremely salty. You could actually see the salt all over the food. The fries were so salty they were inedible.

I called to report the issue, and while the person I spoke with said they wanted to make things right, I don’t have the time, energy, or gas to keep driving back and forth to fix mistakes that shouldn’t happen in the first place. People work hard for their money, and it’s disappointing to keep having these kinds of experiences — especially when we’re supporting a business that depends on loyal customers.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened. On a previous visit, I ordered a Big Mac, and the bun was so hard it was like it had been sitting out all day. If I wanted to waste my money, I could just toss it out the car window. Very disappointed overall.

To make matters worse, the manager claimed he didn’t have the corporate phone number. That’s concerning — who does he contact when he has an issue? Someone at corporate needs to step in and address the quality and accountability at...

3We placed an order for chicken McNuggets in the drive thru, paid for our order, were told to pull forward to the second window, and then proceeded to wait 25 minutes without ever seeing an employee. We got out of our car, asked for help to receive our simple order, and continued to wait. Finally an employee, Alexei, came to the window and told us to move our car that and we were blocking the drive thru (there's two exit lanes, at least 10 cars behind us had already exited), but had no update on our order. We shared that we had been waiting 25 minutes and we would like or order, upon which he screamed several expletives at us as he stormed away. My wife entered the restaurant to figure out what was going on, meanwhile two employees yelled at each other within earshot of the order window, and within a minute, a smiling employee told us that our order was ready.

We had our young children in our car while disgruntled employees were yelling both at us and each other with foul language. I'm appalled that this is the experience happening at a restaurant aimed...
