Top Cup Coffee House — Restaurant in Gilbert

Another 1 Star performance at Top Cup. It is so close to our house we keep giving them chances, but we are terribly disappointed. As a paying customer it is horrible to be lied to. The truth was bad, they were out of control, disorganized, spills and clutter, and they forgot about me waiting for two breakfast burritos ordered online 45 minutes prior. Later I discovered the cook taking orders at the cash register and he said he would go make them in 5 minutes. Then the lies started from the manager, "the oven is broken, we are behind on food orders, the line was to the door". All lies, I had been there for over 30 minutes. One family was in line and nobody in the drive thru when I arrived, nobody in line now. She didn't know I already talked to the cook, so I asked, if you are so far behind on orders, why is your cook at the cash register. And then she said, you want your money back? We'll just cancel the order. Unbelievable! I waited for 40 minutes for them to just cancel my order, so easy. Poor customer service.

2021 The breakfast burritos are...

1st time here, the Chai was not very good. I know Chai is a spice but the drink itself tasted like someone had just added hot water to the spice and served it up, no sugar, milk or anything. Just spicy Chai water. The macaroons were pricey and tasted like crystallized sugar. Just pure sugar. No flavor.

I came today to give it another try. But got hot vanilla Chai aaaaaaaand they lost my order. The place isn't busy busy. There was a couple ahead of me and one person behind me and I was sitting at the coffee counter for awhile. Just waiting. I don't know if they thought I was just an AC moocher or what, but no one asked me if I was waiting on something. I didn't have a laptop pulled out or anything. Just waiting.

Finally I had to tell someone because my "benefit of the doubt" approach was clearly wrong. Which even after saying something, the guy cleaned off 2 tables before he got me my drink.

I don't know what I did wrong. I was nice and tipped well.... so not only am I now never coming back. I feel like I'm completely unwelcome. Not the way I wanted to start my birthday weekend.

went there this morning after seeing a bunch of posts on social media and was super excited to try the pebbles cold brew….i wasn’t greeted or spoken to at all when i came in, the barista barely said a word to me. my drink came out and it was…not at all what i had ordered, or at least what i thought i ordered. i re-entered the line, hoping to get a replacement drink as i did not like the latte i was given, just to be ignored for eight minutes straight, and then talked down to and charged for a replacement drink. even the replacement drink was not as advertised, and barely tasted like anything. i paid $55 in total between the original incorrect beverages, the replacement beverages, one slice of peanut butter toast, and a pack of macarons. the food was good, but the coffee was the worst ive ever had, and definitely the worst customer service ive ever experienced at a local coffee shop. i ended up leaving and getting blackrock down the road, and got a cheaper and tastier drink with better...
