American Grub at the Edison Quick Stop — Restaurant in Gilead Township

This spot has an awesome menu made with localy sourced foods. My wife and I had the steakburger with bacon, spicy sloppy cheeseburger, fries and jalapeno cheese bites. The steakburger was cooked perfectly with an awesome flavor I've never tasted before. The spicy sloppy cheeseburger was new to me and so delicious with just spicy ingredients that weren't too hot to be obnoxious, just a great flavor for spicy food lovers. The buns are so good without being overly heavy too! We even took a couple cold italian subs home and those were perfect in the air fryer for a few minutes. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone! There are parking spots right in front and the lot on the west side of the building is theirs as well as a heads up! I highly recommend stopping here for a delicious meal! Their burgers are fresh, made to order, and seriously delicious. Each element of the burger is made with care ...grab extra napkins, you're going to need them. They have a variety of cheeses you can choose from to top your burger. Also lots of options for sides! We got some fried foods and everything was hot and tasty. Also, if you're familiar with the G&R bologna from Waldo they sell it here. You can round out your meal with some ice cream, hand dipped velvet or soft serve.

I’m a Veteran and American Grub posted on FB today that Veterans could come in for a free meal. I called them and they told me I could have whatever I wanted as a meal for free, no strings attached. I could not make it in to make the pick up so they allowed my wife to pick up my meal for me with no proof of my Veteran Status other than my word. Unheard of these days.
