From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the exceptional experience began. Our waitress, Abby, played a significant role in making our dining experience memorable. Her attentiveness ensured our glasses were never empty, and she was remarkably knowledgeable, especially about the origins of the ingredients. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the beef came from D&M Farms, a local favorite of mine, which added a personal touch to the meal.
The food was simply outstanding. My steak, sourced from my preferred local cattle producer, was cooked to perfection, encapsulating the essence of flavor and quality. The person accompanying me savored a pork chop that was equally praiseworthy for its perfect preparation and taste. It's rare to find such culinary excellence, particularly in this part of the country. The drinks, including top-notch cocktails, complemented the meal flawlessly, elevating the overall dining experience.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is its unparalleled service. It felt akin to the high-end service one might expect in a more cosmopolitan area, making its presence in a small town all the more impressive. The dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction, from the busboys who kept our table impeccably clear of clutter to the thoughtful answers provided by our waitress.
Adding to the ambiance was the decor, which I found exceptionally comfortable and meaningful. The military-themed decor, encompassing elements from World War II to 9/11, not only created a unique atmosphere but also resonated deeply with me, underscoring the restaurant's support for the military.
This establishment is an ideal choice for a date night, offering a perfect blend of exquisite food, stellar service, and a compelling theme. Dining here was not just a meal; it was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to others looking for exceptional cuisine and service in a thoughtfully...
Read moreIn all honesty. I have no idea what the food is like because I was tired of waiting after 45 minutes . When I arrived there was a couple there and the rest of the place was empty. I sat at the bar and ordered a medium rare state and drink. I watched the kitchen staff get the order and not one person moved. They sat around talking for 15 minutes before they started moving. The atmosphere was also very uncomfortable and noticed the kitchen staff staring at me and a waiter leaning against the bar right infant of me also watching me. I also noticed other customers walk in and place orders 20 mins after I did. I think the bartender had to go back and remind them to start my order because everytime she would walk past me to take food to the other customers she would tell me "just a few more minutes " the food being late wasn't the worst part. Being reminded how late my food was every time she walked past me to take other people their food was. Not once did they offer me more bread or anything. They had no problem staring at me as I sat there paitently waiting. I use to work in a restaurant when I was younger so I know the sades are already made. So all they had to do was cook the steak. I cook steaks every weekend and a medium rare steak does not take that long to cook. I am deaplt disappointed in this place. I am all for supporting small buildings and I don't cook so I eat out a lot. If the food was good I would be there a few times a week even if its over priced but I dont have time to wait am hour every night for food. I hope they get it together and fix...
Read moreThe Pan Roasted Chicken with fresh potatoes and mushrooms was off the charts!
A half chicken pan roasted to a golden brown, with a crispy skin that was seasoned delicately, had a juicy breast, and a richly flavored, but mild thigh and drumette was beyond our expectations. It was an easy meal to share with my picky 6 year old (who devoured every morsel she was given😲)
We followed the dinner with a Nutella Bread Pudding that hit all the taste buds in the right way. A stout piece that the two of us easily satiated our pallet with. A wonderful crust on top that was hot, moist, and deliciously served with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. We returned a week later with our big family of 6 just to find that the level of detail and quality had not changed one iota. The table was served at the same time with Smash Burgers for the teens, a Salmon BLT, Pan Roasted Chicken and the Salmon dinner. Timing in the kitchen would have to be critical for that diverse of an order and Chef Andy, and his crew, nailed it perfectly!
We will be coming here on a...
