Humphrey's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Gillette

This place only deserves a one star review because of the fun decor and atmosphere. Otherwise food and service would not even get one star if I could give zero! We waited over an hour and a half for our food. We sat at the bar and our original server was the bartender. He was pleasant enough, told us after a very long wait that our food was up next. We waited over a half hour more for food that was first off, not as described in the menu, but also either not done enough or over done and luke warm at best. We never did see our original server after he told us our food was up next. A new server brought me a burger missing one ingredient and served on a bun that was crusty and dried out! My onion rings, which the menu described as “famous” were still crunchy semi-raw onions. They said they would take the upgrade price off for those and make me new ones, which we never did see! My husband ordered sweet potato fries without the powder sugar they usually put on, but it was on there anyway. His burger was dried out and over done and possibly sitting under the warmer for a while. At least his bun was soft and not crusty. We paid almost $45 for this terrible meal and experience! I can’t believe they only took off the $2.50 upgrade fee for the onion rings! We also saw another gentleman in the bar that left because no one came to take his order. 100% would...

We are from Indiana, so finding a good place to eat for cheap with 8 of us is very hard to do. We waited an hour for our food, which it was not busy what so ever. People that came in after us, got their food before us, and left before us. Half our food was cold, the other half was extremely hot that we couldn't eat right away. None of us got drink refills. One of our food then proceeded to have a hair in it. We waited 20 minutes for his food. When it came out, it was the wrong sandwich.After that waited another 20 minutes for his right food. Throughout the restaurant, we keep hearing "I'm sorry". Our waitress never came back to check on our food. Once the food was down she walked away and never came back. Our kids meal was supposed to be 1.99, which after 20 minutes of waiting for her to come back she finally took our check. None of the checks were the right price and they planned on charging us way too much. The only thing I have good to say about this place was the sandwich that was wrong we did not have to pay for the check. After having to talk to the manger...

Apparently this place is a local favorite and people rave over it. This was the truth because when we got their on a Tuesday for dinner it was PACKED. My experience was fair. I ordered and angioplasty, it was pretty good. Interesting flavor with enough deep fried items to satisfy for about a month. Unfortunately, they go my order wrong the first time and that took away from the experience. Our server seemed somewhat rushed, but overall she did a good job.

They have an all you can eat ribs special, DOOOOOOONNNNNNTTTTT DDDDDOOOOOO IIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!!!! Unfortunately the ribs taste like they were boiled and they threw some BBQ sauce on them. I hate to say it, but they were the worse ribs I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a lot of ribs!

You get big portions and you have an extensive menu to order from. I love the option of being able to order a chicken sandwich or a burger, alike.
