Hotel was decent enough but I won't stay here again based on the fact that they gave my booked suite away because they had guests that booked after me that needed my room for a month. I was forced to book another room to get the 3rd bed I needed. So not only did I have to pay for a second room, they charged me the same amount for a 2 bed as what I paid for the suite. Front desk help said he couldn't do anything and ti call management on Monday. Called management (Kasie) on Monday who promised me she would refund the money for the second room and adjust the rate on the room they gave me. They never issued me the refund for the second room nor did they adjust the room they gave me.
Booked a queen suite room with pullout couch for 4 people a couple months ago. Got checked in and went to our room. It was a standard room - no couch. Went to front desk and was told the queen suite rooms were overbooked and that is all they had. We were not notified of that when we checked in. Got charged the same price for the standard room as we did the suite and front desk person couldn't do anything to adjust the price and said I had to talk to the manager who wasn't in until Monday. Was forced to book another room and pay for another room since we needed the pullout couch for sleeping which is why we booked the suite. Room smelled old and moldy. Pillows were brick hard or had zero support. Bed was very uncomfortable. We can look passed the bed and pillows issue but am very angry that our booked room was given away and we were forced to book and pay for a second room. Will never stay at this LaQuinta again but I'm sure they don't care.
Spoke with the hotel manager on Monday and she said she would make things right and adjust my charges. Will update when I see that this is done.
Checked on 11-14-23 and refund for my second room I had to book because they gave my reserved room away has not been refunded.
Checked again on Nov 21 and refund and adjustment still has...
Read moreThis hotel was not worth it. Claims to be pet friendly but they complain about your pet’s existence the entire time. Even though you are staying in the hotel with them the entire time they will complain to you about your pet. The guy at the front desk tried to tell me how to take care of my dog. He called her “bad” “overreactive” and told me that i “need to board her” that “dogs don’t need to travel and should be left behind” the other guests harass us in the hallways and I was told by the manager that she tacks on additional fees to justify the fact that other guests ask for refunds. The elevator shakes so bad at some point it is going to fall so good luck using it. And do not take your pets unless you want them to complain about her. Funny thing is we were told she was nonstop barking even though my boyfriend was with her and knows for a fact she was not barking. And they try to get you to sign a contract stating that you’ll pay a fee at the end of your stay when it wasn’t mentioned until your last day. Also notice how ALL 105 of the most recent reviews all look fake and are translated because they clearly had to buy reviews to cover up the fact that they suck. We felt harassed and uncomfortable the entire stay. We couldn’t ever even enjoy ourselves because we didn’t know who would approach us or call us multiple times to complain even if we were in the room with her and know she wasn’t barking the way they said. Also for being as new as it is it...
Read moreUnfortunately this would have been a 1 star review if the breakfast spread wasn't out of this world. My family spent the last 19 days traveling out west. We spent nights in many different Hotels and Airbnb's. The breakfast at this particular hotel was one of the best we had. The varied options were amazing and everything was so fresh. The refrigerator in our room made an awfully loud screeching noise. We were exhausted from traveling so just tried to ignore it. Finally we could take it anymore so I got up to unplug it. I had to pull the fridge out to unplug it and when I did, huge amounts of soggy food fell out from underneath. We did have food in the fridge, which because I had to unplug it due to the annoying noise, went bad by the morning. I notified the front desk of what had happened and what we experienced. I didn't have any expectations regarding how they would respond but I sure didn't expect to be offered a soda for my troubles. Even the great breakfast will not bring me back to any...
