Went to go to the Cabbage Shed, and the wait was an hour! We saw a burger bar less than a year old and went there. The bartender and employees were very welcoming and helpful. The menu was very diverse, and everything sounded great. I got the 3 Alarm Fire burger with fries and an order of onion rings. The food was very good and my burger was cooked just right. They had a decently sized drink menu, and I got a PBR. The inside was spacious, but we decided the outside. The bathroom was clean and the pictures were very funny bathroom scenes from movies. We'll be returning.

The service was fast, friendly and efficient here. I personally feel the menu is very limited. I ordered malt and salt fries not knowing they just coat them in a malt dry rub. Needless to say I was rather disappointed when they were brought out to me. I was thinking it would be a basket of fries that would have malt vinegar (liquid) and salt on them. The basic burger was very tasty. Parking can be tricky since it's street parking only. You order your food by scanning a QR code or by walking up to a window. This place is open 7 days a week starting at noon.

The burgers are advertised as “smash burgers”, however they are premade burgers from Gordon Food’s that likely came frozen. Not very good…the bun was probably the best part. The parm truffle fries were good, but I won’t return. No way am I paying their prices for a store bought burger with no flavor. It wouldn’t be such an issue if they weren’t a “burger bar” advertising smash burgers. Such a disappointment.

Pretty disappointed with Mayfair Burger Bar tonight. Biked over from Frankfort, husband walked over with the dog, only to find out that even though they are open until 9pm, they refused to take our orders today when we got there around 8pm; said that their kitchen was backed up over an hour and that our food wouldn't be up until after close. They had patrons inside and only a few outside but was not packed whatsoever when we arrived, perhaps earlier though. The girl didn't offer a coupon to return, a drink, or recommend to visit one of their other restaurants. I get being short staffed, and it is a holiday weekend, but most restaurants take orders up until closing and you can remain to eat. After us, I witnessed numerous groups of people being turned away as well. How are they going to make it? Just disappointed for a fairly new restaurant not to be staffed to...

In fairness, I don't eat burgers, but my h/b and I wanted to try them out. They were empty on a Saturday evening. I opted for a Caesar salad instead of the usual fried options of everywhere. It was hands down the worst salad I've ever eaten. The greens were chopped, and quite some time ago from their looks and taste. Couldn't taste the dressing, no crutons. I mentioned the poor quality to one of the room servers when asked "hows everything tasting" and got a oh, sorry, and a smile. Another person cleared it away barely touched and I told her how awful it was and we discussed why. I thought an offer of something different would have been a nice gesture. For 12.99 of chopped up lettuce I was thanked for my feedback. I should have sent it back right away, my fault. Customer service should have been more responsive...owners fault. For me, first...

I recently visited Mayfair Burger Bar and had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly friendly, and they did a great job keeping the charm of the original Mayfair. We were really bummed when the Mayfair was sold, but are very happy with the way the Burger Bar turned out. The food was not only made quickly but also tasted fantastic – the Thanks Shallot burger and truffle-parm fries were absolute winners. What impressed me even more was the inclusion of a gluten-free burger option, catering to different dietary needs. Overall, Mayfair Burger Bar is a delightful spot with a fun vibe, delicious food, and a staff that goes the extra mile to make your experience memorable. Highly...
