Wendy's Cafe — Restaurant in Glade Township

Since they’ve moved to their new location(a former fruit/vegetable stand), Wendy’s Cafe has been mobbed, especially for lunch or dinner. I decided to see what all the fuss was about. They only do breakfast on weekends until 11am. I tried it on a Sunday and got there at 5:50am. The place was dark, but there were 3 pickups in the parking lot with no one inside. I waited until 6 and still no lights came on. I tried the door and it was open. 3 guys, I assume from the pickups were sitting in the dark, drinking coffee. One guy was getting his own coffee from the Bunn machine. I guess if they know you, you can go in early and drink coffee, if you get it yourself. Finally, a lady came out and waited on me. The breakfast itself was decent and she refilled my coffee a couple times. The price wasn’t too bad either. There is only a couple tables for two, the rest are for four or more. I'm sure the wings are good....I got a shrimp basket it was good, hungryman TV dinners are good too tho....went there for a spontaneous date night....despite having to constantly swat the flies away from myself as well my food, we found their menu was pretty slim to say the least.....had about 4 things to choose from and had to break our necks and strain our eyes to read their "specials board". We got food to go and got to the job "No silverware." How can you have to go food and no silverware? Expect people to eat macaroni salad and coleslaw with their fingers? Other than this,the food was great! The server is rude! You can tell by her attitude when she goes from new customers to the ones she knows. I've been here a few times!
