Cancun Mexican Restaurant Ottawa — Restaurant in Glandorf Township

First time going here cause we were tired of the same old same old. Our regular Mexican place has raised their prices and dropped quality, so we drove by and decided to stop. Let me start by saying that whatever I had thought this was going to be was not even close to what we received. We ordered the fajitas for two and while we waited had chips and salsa. Salsa was good, a little bit of spice but a nice even amount to please a family, from kids to adults. Our order came out very quickly, we didn't even get to eat more than half our chips. Now on the menu I didn't remember pineapple being on the ingredient list; it was supposed to be chicken, beef, shrimp, chorizo, peppers, onions, and tomato, but there it was, grilled pineapple. All I can say is wow, absolutely delicious. Portions were great, price was awesome, service was on point. Guacamole was amazing and I am picky about that. I went to eat there with my family. I order a Carne Asada. The Carne Asada didn’t have any seasoning or taste to it, wasn’t even cooked right. Look disgusting on the back of the Carne Asada. The beans were cold, the tortillas weren’t even hot. Instead of give me a new piece of Carne Asada they just put it back on the grill again. It tasted burnt and was burnt (wish I would have gotten a picture but didn’t). The guy that re-cooked the Carne Asada looked mad and annoyed. It made me so sick. I would rather go eat somewhere else then here. Like doesn’t this just look nasty 🤢. I've eaten here about five times, and for the first time as of this review I've dined in for the first time. The decorum is very endearing and pleasant to look at, creating a pleasant atmosphere. That atmosphere is carrier leagues further by the incredibly friendly and courteous service; attentive, kind, professional.

The only thing left to mention is the food quality. It carries the trend this review has established so far. I've ordered the same dish every time, camarones ala diabla, extra spicy, every single time, and it's never failed to be searingly hot and incredibly delicious.
