Hibachi & Wings — Restaurant in Glassboro

Ever spend $20 that you wish you hadn't? I just did! First and last time there. I can't, in good conscience, recommend this place in ANY aspect. The amount of time it took to order over the phone repeating myself over and over, to her getting the order wrong anyway, things on the menu that they don't even carry anymore but she didn't bother to tell us. We made it all the way home to find it not there. When I called to let them know it was missed, all she did was start raising her voice, told me they were very busy, then proceeded to hang up on me. When I showed up, not a soul in the restaurant except her and the cook... unless she was counting all the college students that were hanging out next door getting pizza. There was no one there when we picked up the first time either. So I get home, the rice was dry, food tasteless, and the soup smelled like sweaty feet. If I knew what sweaty feet tasted like, I'd venture a guess that it's a similar taste too. Bottom line: go next door to the pizza shop or ANYWHERE else than this trash food... which is where it all is...

Sigh…what can I not say about this restaurant? Firstly when ordering chicken hibachi you’d expect a plate of RICE and chicken, to my surprise there was STRAIGHT chicken with a side a fries…no rice in site. I’m confused is this chicken hibachi or chicken no hibachi?!?? Okay nextly I also ordered general tso chicken and opened up the platter to orange chicken or some other rendition of “general tso chicken” tasteless, and bland smh. On top of the incorrect order, it took no joke AN HOUR to get our food. I don’t think I’ve ever waited that long. Yes, she was the only one in there, but if the wait time is taking an hour!!!customer service needs to be taken into consideration a bit more. And mind you, a good 5 star review was expected out of me after this experience. Drinks were good, yea. Food and service, nah. Save your money and your time, and find another...

My bf & I wanted some quick hibachi so we decided to give this place a try since it was close to us & the reviews were great. I got the chicken & shrimp rice platter with mini buns, he got steak & shrimp. The total was $38 which I thought was great for the amount of food plus 2 soda cans. We wanted to eat in, but there were a lot of flies so we decided we’d take it to go (we should’ve said nvm). We were told it’d be a 15-20 min wait, but actually ended up waiting like 45. There was only 1 group of people when we got there so we didn’t expect it to be that long. A couple that came in after us got their food before us which didn’t make sense, but it wasn’t worth it. The rice tasted burnt, the chicken & steak were chewy, very stingy with the shrimp & the buns...
