I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered from this place. Today was my last order.. ever. Poor poor customer service and response to my phone call for complaint. The girl who took my order was clueless from the very beginning when I was trying to give her a credit card. I was told to 45 minutes for a small pizza and two dinner salads with chicken. With the tip for delivery my total bill was a little more than $47. The pizza was just barely warm and the salads were not what I anticipated. They were actually small side salads with chicken breasts wrapped in foil. Like, what?!!!! When I called to complain I was put on hold for five minutes. I hung up and the girl called me back again and said the manager was busy and a hold on she was getting him now. She proceeded to put me on hold for another three minutes and I hung up. The moral of the story here is if you like just barely warm pizza and paying a lot of money for two tiny salads with chicken and end up being frustrated at the end of your meal it's not worth it. By the way, we eat out or order out at least twice a week. This is actually the second time they've messed up an order. I'm not going for three strikes on this one. Too expensive a lesson. Ordered 3 pizzas for a group bc this place was 7min away from our starting point (church) & 8mi (20min) from our destination (home). Claimed it'd be 30min until ready for pickup. Called 30min later bc I assumed 30min was unrealistic. Waited on hold for 9min. No answer. Drove the 7min and pizzas were ready, but 2/3 were wrong (thin crust instead of deep dish). The options offered were to take the wrong pizzas and trust that they'd reimburse me later for an unknown amount (they literally had no idea at the time what the difference in price would be), or let the correct pizza get cold & old while waiting another 40min for them to make the other two correctly; postponing dinner for the whole group and literally leaving them out in the cold. Wound up just buying the wrong pizzas AND having to come back for the right pizzas, but then wouldn't accept the in-person cash purchase of wrong pizzas as a walk-in order for a free 2L. I've been ordering from Papa Saverio's for well over 15 years and this location specifically for the last 4. The owner is nice enough, however he's literally the only one working at most times. I know this because he told me over the phone once when there was a coupon discrepancy the call service they use couldn't figure out so they put me through to him. This is how I found out there are no delivery drivers for this pizza place and so they use doordash or any other 3rd party service. I called and placed an order tonight for one pizza. Because it was late the answering service was turned off and he answered. He told me the delivery would be the last of the night for the driver and that it would be delivered within 45 minutes. I was charged $25. The pizza never showed up. One of two things happened. Either he didn't make the pizza and just took my money, or he made it, gave it to the doordasher and they took it home as a little reward for a hard day's work. Either way, you have earned this one star review and I'll be disputing this charge with my bank and getting my money back.
