Alesha Donuts — Restaurant in Glendale

First time at Alesha Donuts yesterday and we were really happy with the donuts. We came in the late afternoon, when the donuts from most other places would normally be a little dried out from sitting in the case all day. These donuts were not dry or stale at all, even for the end of the day. These donuts here were all extremely fresh tasting and were light and fluffy. We got Boston Cream, strawberry sprinkles, chocolate glazed, regular glazed, jelly donut, blueberry filled crumb, and a crumb donut. First off, I personally don’t even like donuts, but my family LOVES them, and I must say that these were really good donuts. I actually enjoyed every single one. They’re all very good and we will definitely be coming here again.

Went here for the first time. When walking in the clerk could barely greet me with an hello first problem. Second the donuts are overpriced and nothing truly special about them. Third as I was paying for my order another customer walked in who was Caucasian. He was greeted by the owner with great enthusiasm, and was thanked for coming in. Meanwhile neither one of the clerks could even say with any kind of enthusiasm thank you to me. Needless to say I will not be back. Also the donuts as mentioned earlier was nothing special. The glazed cream filled donut was non-existent of cream. It was a glaze donut with a touch of cream, which is drastically different then other donuts that have a similar description. I’ve recently started coming here more often, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite local spots. This family-owned business has such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere it really feels like a place the community can be proud of.

While they’re best known for their delicious doughnuts, I usually go for the bagel sandwiches, which are fresh, tasty, and always hit the spot. The service is consistently excellent. Every time I come in the staff had been kind, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about their customers and form good relationships with the community!
