Yesterday my elderly, disabled father entered the Little Caesar’s on 83rd ave and Glendale while my mom waited in the car. My father has been diagnosed with “failure to thrive”, so anytime he has a craving, we try to accommodate him because he rarely eats anymore. Antoine was assisting him. He ordered his pizza and when his debit card wouldn’t go through (he’s on social security and forgets how to budget for the month), Antoine showed my dad more compassion than he’s gotten in a long time. You see, sometimes he gets impatient or irate because he’s had a stroke that has affected his logical thinking. Bystanders usual laugh at the cranky old man causing a scene, but when my dad came back to the car and my mom asked what took so long, he then explained that his card kept getting declined and that a young boy (an employee) paid for his pizza out of his own pocket. My mom cried. I cried when my mom called to tell me. When I called today to find out who the employee was and to ask to reimburse him, Antoine refused to let me pay him back and told me he would never laugh at my dad’s situation. Antoine needs to be recognized. You never know what someone has been through and instead of sending him away hungry, he showed compassion and helped my dad. We need more people in the world...
Read moreFood was actually pretty good. Ordered the calzone/pizza thing and breadsticks/Italian cheesy bread. Three stars because we had ordered extra crazy sauce and when I picked it up, there wasn't even the crazy sauce that comes with the crazy bread. So I asked the girl for the sauce I ordered (3 of them) and showed her the receipt. She didn't say much other than ok and walked to the back. After being gone for what seemed like 5 minutes, she came back with only one sauce. I told her again that we ordered extra. She proceeded to tell me they have next to no sauce left. Huh? How are you making orders and doing pizza then? I completely understand COVID and backed up supply chain orders (if that's even the issue or if it was because I picked up within the last hour they were open) but communicate the issue when I pick up my order not after I've asked three times about why the items I paid for are not there. Then there was no offer of refunding, so I start to pick up my stuff off the counter to leave and she then decides to tell me I can take some of the prepackaged sauces if I want. Simple communication with customers goes a long way. Even if the answer was we're out of sauce for the night but please help yourself to the price equivalent of...
Read moreI made a delivery order and the order was wrong. I called in to have this fixed and I was told I can come pick it up. I ordered delivery for a reason! HELLO. So because this place made a mistake now I have to do 50% of the work to make it right. BUT GUESS WHAT IT GETS WORSE! I give in and go to pick it up because I can’t let my kids starve, and, they present me another pizza that is made incorrectly. So now, I didn’t get my delivery, I didn’t get my pizza, I didn’t get my remade pizza, and they had the audacity to again ask “can we remake it for you?” THEY ALREADY TRIED, still they couldn’t read and make the order correct. I cannot sit there for another 20 minutes and wait for a pizza a was supposed to be delivered an hour ago just for it to be incorrect again. Because they can’t do their job right, I have wasted the time I didn’t have in the first place and children who don’t get pizza for lunch. This place has 0 customer service and no competent staff. THERE WAS NO MANAGER IN SIGHT. I asked to speak with her, nope, never saw a manager. Just 3 teenage boys messing around while two girls didn’t know how to help me and eventually gave me the customer service number where they were...
