Yummi Donuts — Restaurant in Glenn Heights

Customer: Can I have 2 dozen donuts please. Cashier: Sorry, I don’t have any donuts. Customer: Well, what are those (pointing at the tray of donuts behind the counter)? Cashier: Shrugged shoulders Customer: How long until there are more donuts? Cashier: 2 minutes. Customer: Ok. I’ll wait.

You’d think hat a donut shop would take pride in having fresh donuts. Even something like, “we’ve got some fresh donuts on the way if you’d only wait a couple of minutes.” For a company with their product in the title to say that they are “out” of the product when said product is not only visible but in the process of restocking is the antithesis of good customer service and positive business practice.

It’d be a grand marketing idea to even hang a sign in the window that says “hot and ready” something like that to flag in hungry passers-by into the store. Wait, that’s been done...successfully already.

Oh yeah, their donuts are decent. Location is a key convenience here. Definitely have had more succulent...

I work late, so when I arrived at 5:15 AM, there were plenty of fresh out of the fryer doughnuts to choose from. My "go to" is the apple fritter. They weren't ready, but the lady said that she would drop them now. NOTHING BETTER than a fresh apple fritter right out of the fryer!! Yumm!! I also got a few Kelochi's to take home. Again...YUMMM!! I ordered an apple fritter, a sausage jalapeño traditional kolache, a sausage jalapeño croissant kolache, and doughnut holes. The doughnut holes were great, cooked well and had a good glaze.
