I have LOVED Subway Restaurants ALL MY LIFE, but THIS experience has pretty much RUINED everything good that I've ever thought of Subway. On this particular visit, I did an online pick up order at the Glenwood, MN Subway and the employees that were responsible for the EXTREMELY poor service were a couple of fellas by the names of Shawn and Keegan. To make a very long, very irritating, and very disappointing story short; I'll just say that NOBODY should EVER have to go back into a store 3 TIMES in order to get exactly what they ordered, exactly HOW they ordered it!!! Also, CHEESE is a VERY important ingredient in a Subway sandwich and it should NEVER be FORGOTTEN!!! INFACT, EVERY SINGLE INGREDIENT that is used to customize a sub IS IMPORTANT!!! It is also VERY IMPORTANT to put the correct portions of ingredients on the sub- Regular lettuce, Regular black olives, and Regular pickles DOES NOT mean that you get 5 shreds of lettuce, 4 black olives, and 4 pickles on a FOOTLONG sub! And lastly, when a customer calls you out on something that is wrong with the product that they served you, an Employee SHOULD fix what they did wrong! DO NOT roll your eyes and huff, puff, and sigh at the customer-trying to act like the customer is the PROBLEM!!! After all was said and done, I had requested a call from the store manager to discuss everything that was wrong with my visit and SURPRISE, SURPRISE- I received NO CALL AT ALL! Read more"0" stars for this review. I LOVE subway. The staff (two young guys) was rude and argumentative. The one who handled the register was better. So first off, my order was going to consist of 5 footlongs. Bread was burnt. The guy in the bread/meat area, argued that it was not burnt. He did find one that was not burnt. But I needed three of that flavor of bread. Next, the meat was unstocked and looked disgusting. But decided to continue. The look of the vegetables were gross. They were all what looked to be freezer burnt. The lettuce was brown and rusty. So I requested new vegetables. I wasn't eating that stuff for the price I am paying. He did as I requested while the other guy with the meat area sighed. Needless to say, get rid of them if they aren't going to do their job. I understand people don't want to work and finding good employees is challenging, but seriously....I would much rather drive to Alexandria just for a sub! Not impressed. Read moreThe day shift here is absolutely amazing! I’m in almost every day at noon and every time they greet me by name! They’re always in a good mood and know my sandwich by heart... I don’t have to tell them anything and it’s made perfectly every time! I’m also very impressed with their work efficiency! Everyone has their job in the line and the flow of getting customers through is flawless! I’m never in there more then 5 min! I don’t know how they do it with the chaos that goes on at lunch in dealing with the drive thru, customers in house, and online orders all at one time!
