PIGS HEAD BBQ — Restaurant in Gobles

We had the pleasure of working with James for our wedding August 2022. From the start he was very friendly, quick to respond and passionate about his food. We went to his food truck for a tasting, and as we stood in line each person told us “this is the best bbq I’ve ever had”. Needless to say we were excited, and Pigs Head BBQ was indeed the BEST BBQ around. I kid you not we took one single bite of the brisket, and knew we were putting a deposit down that very same day. From the 17 hour Texas style smoked brisket, pulled pork, tender rib tips all the way to the cheesy Mac and dessert cup it was DELICIOUS. Now let me tell ya the day of our wedding it was even better than we remembered and our guest complimented the food ALL night. Shoot we had guest that night following him on Facebook, sharing his page telling everyone they know to not walk but run to try his food. Not only was the buffet setup perfectly organized but the buns and cornbread were stacked in an adorable basket (it’s the details for me) Then next to the meats every type of bbq sauce your heart could desire. It was a dang party for your taste buds to sum it up!! If you are looking for some mind blowing food for a quick bite to eat or even to cater an event I would highly recommend trying Pigs Head BBQ. I can promise you won’t be disappointed with anything you try!!

Something I just had to share: As my husband and I took a moment to ourselves we could see all of our guest smiling with each bite and behind them we noticed James and his son looking so incredibly proud of all their hard work. That to me was one of the best moments getting to see the full circle of it all.

BY FAR THE BEST BBQ I have EVER had!! We were instantly greeted by their son (who was the sweetest thing ever) and he brought us out sauces and silverware. I ordered the brisket meal and got two orders of fries and gave one to my husband.. he ordered the brisket Dorito nachos. I’m not kidding when I say we STILL have food left! We both ate til our hearts were content for a late lunch yesterday, then snacked on our left overs last night and today, I’m about to finish my brisket for lunch! The food was out of this world! My husband and I happened to find this food truck and have been obsessed. There hasn’t been a single thing that has not been amazing. Fast forward to my daughters graduation party, she requested a Mac and cheese bar. Immediately I knew who was catering this. We messaged and got it all figured out in one day. 2 pans of Mac n Cheese and BBQ pork. Pick up day went smoothly and I cannot tell you how much of a hit it was.
