Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Goddard

I ordered an ice cream cake for a family birthday celebration, when I went to pick it up the writing on it looked like a 5 year old child had done it. When they spelled birthday on the cake they capitalized the d. The staff member that brought it out asked me if I thought it looked ok and I said no. They offered to scrape off the writing and did but the top of the cake looked awful. I had them bring me the icing tube and wrote on it myself. The two women that helped with this whole thing were incredibly rude when I asked one of them if she would have been happy with how the cake looked she said she wouldn’t have ordered one there to begin with. When I asked that they reduce the price one of the women got even ruder saying I was expecting too much to ask them to write on a cake that they weren’t professional cake decorators. I told her if they had of said that was a challenge when I ordered the cake or had even called I would have had them just put an image on it. Finally another manager, a young man, stepped in and was shocked I had to write on it myself and he took some off the cake, I still paid almost $40 for so I didn’t get it by free by any means and wouldn’t have expected too. I stayed calm but the two women need a class on customer service hand how to treat people. I will drive and go to another location to have anything Dairy Queen. Power went out with the storm, so my daughter wanted to go to DQ and opted to treat. She had us use their app to order because you can customize your sandwich. Headed into the store and told them we were going to dine in and our order number. Got our cups and drinks and sat down. Brought 3 meals out in about 5 minutes and said my daughter's would be out shortly. About 10 minutes later they bring her chicken sandwich but say her fries will be out shortly. Opens the sandwich and it's grilled chicken, not crispy. Takes it back. Gets her fries back at the table. We've about finished our meal. Brings the sandwich out. Crispy, no bacon, no cheese, no pickles. By this time we're done. Feels like we went to the Goddard Sonic. Apologies, but no offer of icecream or comp to make up for it. Thought the App was neat at first, but don't think I'll be using it anytime soon. Usually have a good experience with minor things when they're busy but they weren't tonight....

I arrived at 8:44 pm. The young female at the counter had an extremely hateful attitude. I was the only one there and she didn't listen to the order and entered it wrong, not did she seem to care. I checked in the bag before I left and she had omitted an item. After I pointed it out she then slapped it in the bag. The young man there made my sundae wrong from how they always have and would not correct it. He and the hatedful counter woman just lied about it and dismissed it. After I arrived home and took out the food it was all wrong and swimming in so much mustard and ketchup it was a mess and not editable. The owner would be well served to manage that shift, put some decency into their customer service and consistency into their food preparation. I am done, I will not be going back at any...
