Pathway Church Goddard — Attraction in Goddard

We visited 9/19/20. The facility and property were very nice. We thought it was odd that 5 minutes before the start of services, the parking lot was almost empty. When we entered the worship area (used to be called sanctuary before seekers church), it was dark except for the light show ambience lights. When the service started, the light show glared in our eyes. We moved a few seats over behind other people to avoid getting blasted with the bright lights. The band was competent, although the lead singer's mic was a bit hot. The room remained dark except for light show ambience lights the entire time. Even during the sermon when the speaker wanted the audience to refer to their Bibles, the room remained dark. The speaker was presented via a recording of the previous evening's service at the main campus. The serious subject of hell was the topic of his sermon. He didn't use a whole lot of scripture to support his assertions and by the end I had more questions than answers. Had I not been a life-long believer, I wouldn't have gotten answers to issues raised but not addressed. The end of the service had a rather lengthy announcement time and still no lights. It's very difficult to promote a sense of community when you can't see anyone else in the room. For us, we saw a lot of unrealized potential marred by simple logistical mistakes that could have made...

Supper kid feiendly,nice activities for adults as well as kids all age groups.serve coffee and donuts,the lighting is all dark in service with black light effect with light up Cosmo balls.U can understand and relate to the pastor...non judgmental...
