The 3 stars are for the food...OLLIES always serves great food at a great price and did so on this visit.

But on this visit - Tuesday July 26th @ 6pm...but sorry SERVICE FELL FLAT ON ITS FACE THIS TIME!!!...it was terrible.

Things started badly with my phone call to ask about reservation for a party of 9 at 6pm to celebrate my nieces 31st B-Day.

The woman that answered the phone was very rude short with me and explained "painfully" that "parties of 8 or more cannot get split checks". Talked to me like I am a 10 year old! We STILL decided to meet there from past meals and good service.

As we were being seated I realized that our server was the same voice as the one on the phone and she was not any nicer even in person...she is an older woman and her name is LINDA!

The bad...if having a bad attitude like she didn't want to be there wasn't enough, as she took the drink order she just left and skipped 2 in our party. When she returned, we told her about the mistake and she acted like it was our fault...one of my nieces daughters wanted a root beer and the server went off on some tirade about it having to be poured into a glass...yaddah yaddah yaddah and she walked away again. We STILL didn't understand what heck she was talking about!!!

Next ordering the meals...she did the same thing, took 6 of the 9 orders and WALKED AWAY...for some unknown reason we had to wait for her to comeback and finish...all the while making us ALL feel like she didn't want to be there and we were a pain in her @#$!!!

All past visits to this establishment have been met with smiling faces, great service and food. I cannot believe that this is the 1st time our server LINDA has been a grumpy old man to customers. Maybe she had a bad day but that DOES NOT excuse her poor behavior. I will find other places to spend my money and be treated like a guest...

The food was awesome. They had such a large variety of dinner options then went from fish, clams, etc.. to hot & cold subs, then pizza & calzones...even to burgers and chicken fingers/breasts, all the way to italian foods like spaghetti, lasagna, & every kind of pasta. They had all their bases covered for any type of food you were in the mood for. Their dinners are served with all 4 food groups ( you get to choose your main meat course and it comes with your choice of soups, rice, salads, vegetables...and it even includes a dinner roll).

So basically the menu is fantastic!

The only negative thing I can think of was the fact that their prices are pretty high, so it's not a place you'd want to go to if you're tight on cash or trying to find a budget friendly meal. And I loved that the place was low key, didn't have many people in it, and had a pleasant calming vibe to it which is a nice change from all the loud noises and commotion that is normally associated with going to a restaurant. With that being said, it seemed to take a strangely long time to place an order , especially considering the minimum number of people there, the amount of time it took to get your order was longer than a place that was at its capacity. Even getting the check was a struggle and after waiting so long for someone to acknowledge us, I ended up walking over and grabbing a to-go box on my own to place my leftovers into it, in order to speed up the process, and allowing us to get out the door faster after sitting around for quite awhile when it was extremely obvious we were more than ready to leave. Finally, We just stacked our dishes up ourselves, leaving them on the table, and eventually ended up walking up to the front desk to pay the bill. great food,...

Last night husband and I stopped in to get a pizza and some coffee. Our hostess who sat us was very friendly and polite. Our server Ivy according to our quest receipt of not give the customer service we should of received. When approached by the server already started with an attitude. It was the " What can I get you additive like we were interrupting her time. When she brought the coffee and took our order she has zero personality skills not friendly. As we drank our coffee not once did she come back to give us a refill. She kept walking past the front counter to the other room of employees were you could hear them all having good time but forgetting to serve the customer she's suppose to be waiting on. After about 40 minutes waiting for the pizza which makes sense for it to take that long not busy at all at that time. Finally pizza comes she literally puts the pizza on the table and walks away. Still not refilling or asking if we needed anything else. She just simply walked away back to the room with her friend co workers. My husband and I were very displeased that we had to go to the front counter and ask a different waitress for two drinks. He went to grab our server and told her we needed drinks. She came by put them.on table and just simply walked away again to hang out with her co workers. As we were finally finishing up our dinner not once did she come by ask how everything was, or anything. Again we had to ask for the check cause she was to busy with co workers then taking care of her customers. She brings the check puts on table leaves waits a bit to come back to get our payment. We are very displeased our server did not provide the customer service she should of to...
