About 9 months ago I purchased a black bean crunch wrap to go. After I biting into the wrap I realized there's beef inside it. I don't eat meat so I immediately spit it out. I was on my way back to work from my lunch break so there was no time to return to the store for another meal. Although I was disappointed I understood that mistakes happen.
Fast forward to 03/21/24 around 2:30pm I purchased the same item to go only to have the same thing happened to me again. At that point I was beyond frustrated so I returned to the store and requested a refund. The cashier was extremely nice and apologetic, as well as the kitchen staff who made the error. What trigger me to write this review is the way the manager dealt with the situation. He said to the cashier, maybe in a joking manner, "is this what you called me up here for?" As he completed my refund I had to ask for my receipt back, which he gave back without saying a word. No "you're welcome," no apology, not even a coupon.
I understand that we are in a time where good and consistent workers are hard to find but I don't know if this is just a bad coincidence or if improperly trained staff is the norm at this location. All I can say is they won't get my business again. Taco bell is one of my favorite fast food spots and I really hope improvements are made on the veggie cravings meal prep so I don't have to feel like I playing Russian Roulette when biting...
Read moreThis Taco Bell has to be the worse Taco Bell in Minnesota. If you want horrible food and terrible customer service this is the spot to go to. Really quick a few weeks back I went to this location and placed an order. I called when I got home because my food was soaked and falling apart as if the food had been sitting. I spoke with a manager named James who did apologize about my experience and stated that he would write my name down so I can come back to get a free meal. So I called to this location today to make sure that everything was good for me to stop by and get my free meal that was promised. However I was greeted by Tony a team member who in my opinion was most rude and disrespectful worker ever. He treated me as if I was not supposed to get a free meal or that it would be an issue to come and get my food. I explained to Tony that his customer service sucked and he should really learn how to deal with customers in a better manor. I no longer desire to have that free meal even thought Taco Bell messed up. I’m disgusting by the horrible customer service that I received. If you read my original review below, the staff that I've encountered at this location were lacking in professionalism and tact. However, James takes service to the next level. Hopefully Taco Bell Corporate sees this review and recognizes James for his top notch efforts. ☺ 5 Stars for James 🌟
[Original Review] Staff is comprised of mostly young high schoolers... Had issue with receiving all items of order through drive-thru and when I called- a young man answered while another young male employee yelled "what the f*ck do you want?" in the background... I guess that's the level of "service" at fast food restaurants... Hopefully the leadership at this location will look after the immature and unprofessional staff members and enforce better customer service...
