Dos Marias Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Came for Sunday dinner with family, the food was good. Atmosphere is nice and inviting. Not fully authentic food but still good. We were told by our waitress that they only have 3 alcoholic drinks and it’s the ones on the back of the menu. Seemed odd since they literally have a fully stocked bar that takes up a whole wall?? We didn’t push much on that topic as our waitress seemed bothered from the start anyway. Food wait time wasn’t bad, big portions which is where the stars come from.

Staff weren’t that pleasant and everyone just seemed bothered or annoyed for no reason. We were there for about 1.5 hours and only saw our waitress 3 times. Even when the food came out she didn’t come over to ask us if we needed anything else which is common practice/procedure for any restaurant.

Might be better to just order take out and not deal with the staff. Even then it’s a low chance we’ll be back. Too many friendly and real authentic places around to...

Tried it for the first time today with my husband and daughter since we live just down the street. Apparently, they do not serve lunch specials on Sundays... which doesn't make sense to me, but okay. Prices were higher than expected. We ordered a taco salad, a Burrito California, a tiny serving of queso, and a kid's taco & burrito combo. I had a tiny sliver of tomato on my taco salad. The food was alright, but I was surprised that the "dinner" entrees did not come with the typical sides of rice, beans, and etc that you get from most Mexican restaurants. Our waitress was friendly enough, but we did not get offered a single refill on our drinks. The total ended up being $50, not including tip. I'd give it another try in the future, but not on...

I wouldn't give one star at all first time there read other reviews and wow where we in for a shock we seated quickly menus and drinks fast. We were seated at the very last booth on left hand side doors to kitchen and waitress are right there. Ok as we were waiting for our Texas nachos here comes the flies we were sitting there swatting at flies.yes flies ok here comes out food I was so disappointed it look awful the steak was burnt no green peppers no onions 5 shrimp a few tomatoes had more cheese than chips and we are still swatting flies we pluck out what we could waitress only came back to bring check now mind you they stood there and seen the issue we were having with flies no apologize nothing but sure snatch that Bill up we will never go back...
