Subway — Restaurant in Goldsboro

When I walked in there was 4 guys sitting at a table(2 of them are subway employees). They continued to laugh and conversation. So as I’m looking around waiting for an employee to greet me or ask what I want I see 2 of the guys at the table looking at me then they drop their heads. So finally a young lady comes from the back and one of the guys run from the table as if he was about to take my order. Luckily the young lady made my food. So the guy goes back to talk with his friends. I get my food leave a tip to the person that actually wanted to work. As I’m leaving I see one of the guys and his friend walking towards the ordering area the friend orders a sandwich and guess what MR LAZY MADE IT! A couple comes in and MR LAZY 2.0 finally gets up from his chair mind u neither of them washed hands or greeted the couple they just stood there looking as if they didn’t wanna make their food either! Hands down they won THE LAZY EMPLOYEES OF THE DAY...

This Subway has really turned itself around.I don't know if it's under new ownership Or New Management but tonight I received excellent customer service from the two ladies working. The bread was soft and fresh and the sub fillings were fresh. I got a vegidelight sub and all the veggies on it were cold and fresh and the sub was assimilated perfectly and the store was exceptionally clean. I was completely impressed. I'm a very critical person when it comes to food establishments because I worked food service management for over 20 years at various establishments and I could not find one fault with this Subway. The employees at this store need customer service training. I walk to the counter and they did not greet me. I started to place my order and the White female said "we have an order in front of you ". I was going to walk out but I had to buy lunch for my guest. I think Subway in general is OVER PRICED! The quality of cold cuts and bread is less than desired. The bread is stale! The corporate office needs to reevaluate their prices.....for the same price of their sandwich, I can buy a sandwich from Firehouse Subs or Jersey Mike's. I will not visit this...
