We pulled up at the drive-through today around 11:45 to order a fish sandwich with pickles, a quarter pounder cheese and a lg fry that we told the lady we had a digital coupon . It didn't show up on the screen so we waited. Again how may we help you, we repeated Ithe order she said anything to drink we said no. My ordered never showed up on the screen. She said the total. We pulled up and let her scan the phone for the coupon, paid with a credit card. Pull up they had was our food quickly. As we left I realized we didn't have the 1/4 pounder. I looked at the receipt but couldn't read it the print quality bad. I took the receipt and my card inside, when I finally got someone to help me I told the lady we didn't get a 1/4pounder. She said you didn't pay for 1. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that's me. I explained to her about the ordering. And she asked me did they (she said a big word for repeat) what you ordered, and I said no. She asked the guy at the drive up was he doing that? He said no, and she asked if they were doing it in the and they said no. She said what did you order? I said a 1/4pounder with cheese. She said it'll be 3 minutes. I chatted with some friends as I waited. When I went back she handed me the bag and said have a good day. I said no apology? She said I gave you a free 1/4 pounder. I handed it back to her and said it wasn't about the sandwich. I think it was bad management because they weren't checking the orders at either place, nor was the sign working whenever you ordered, Nor was the receipt printing. I just left there today and asked 2 people to make sure the fries were cooked twice and I was lied to. I used to work at several McDonald's locations between Carolina Beach and one of the Wilmington locations, and I know how long it takes to cook fries twice (well done). What I had received today were floppy, cold and soggy fries (for thr most part) and I ended up giving them to my dog. The special filet o fish was done correctly. I understand that the stores have a quota to make with their drive thru times and service times, and I wouldn't have minded waiting in the parking lot- out of the drive thru lane, for my order to be correct and ready. I know there's ways to cut down on time like bumping an order off the screen- as long as you don't forget the customer or their order (that can get tricky if it's busy)... but today at the time I was there, it was not busy in drive thru. I won't be spending my money at this location anymore due to being lied to from the 2nd window cashier and her giving me a slight attitude, along with my fries for my order...

I will not go to another McDonaldās again. Many people I know are now doing the same thing. They pulled me up every time I ordered a coffee and made me wait for several minutes. Half of the time they got my simple coffee order wrong. Half of the time they didnāt honor my mobile coupons because their system was ādown.ā One time I asked for an egg and cheese biscuit. They gave me one with sausage on it. I asked them to correct it. All they did was remove the sausage off of the egg, which made it be a greasy mess. I demanded they give me a new one. That was pure laziness. My orders were wrong often. Another time I was pulled up, I literally sat there for 8 minutes.. there was no one in the drive thru. I was waiting for one coffee. I pulled back around to see whatās going on AND THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME. And I had to wait even longer for them to make my coffee!!
