Update... Things are changing. For the better mostly. The head chef has been there the past few times we've dined there. The dishes reflect her care and expertise. Fewer mistakes are happening. Still getting entrees served before appetizers are finished, so we're cutting back on appetizers. Glad to continue dining here. My original review was 5☆ some years ago; I downgraded it to 4☆ 2 years ago. These days, the owner and his wife/head cook are seldom seen. My bride ordered Tom Yum Noodle, No Spice. It was too spicy for her to eat and there were no noodles at all. I saw chili oil floating on top. My Beef Bulgogi Bowl was not as beefy as before; carrot, broccoli, sauce and rice filling more of the bowl. I get it. I ordered medium spicy and the flavor was good. We mentioned the lack of noodles and were only offered a giggle and "I'm sorry." When the bill came, the waitress had written, "Tom Yum Noodle, Spicy." We pointed out that we had ordered "no spice" and received more giggles and "I'm sorry" over and over. We are disappointed, to say the least. This place was one of our favorite spots, but it is not what it used to be. We will likely still order to-go, but the dine-in experience leaves something...
Read moreVery disappointed with Tiger Milk in Goldsboro. My young son wanted to treat me to a boba tea, so we decided on Tiger Milk in Goldsboro. He based his choice on the price listed on the sign next to us, which was easier for him to see and understand. What he didn’t realize was that the sign showed only the base price and didn’t include add ons, which is misleading. I noticed the price discrepancy at checkout and brought it up. The cashier then asked the owner, who had just walked into the area. Instead of addressing the issue, the owner simply pointed to a different sign behind the counter with the upcharges and walked away—no explanation, no effort to clarify. I'm not talking about taxes. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional, like our business didn’t matter because someone else would pay without question. Disappointing customer service, especially during what was meant to be a kind gesture from my son. We will definitely not be back and will support Poké Bowl when we get a craving...
Read moreI took myself on a solo dinner date. As soon as I walked in, I had a great laugh from one of the wait staff members! Apple (my waitress) sat with me and made me feel so welcomed. It was like I was at home. She helped me figure out what tea and food item to try, and we shared a few laughs! I got spring rolls, which I crave heavily! I also got panang curry with tofu and extra veggies, and white rice. The curry was so flavorful, savory, and just delicious, and a huge portion! I spent almost $40 on myself, but there was so much food I had leftovers for 2 more meals! Made prepping lunches easier on me for the week and was so yummy each time! I found my new favorite local place! I cook these things at home usually because it's not easy to find safe vegan food in Goldsboro, NC, but the 3 sister's and apple at NaiThai 2, you gave me a home away from home! When this momma needs a break from cooking and home life, I'm taking myself...
