Sadly I am only giving this location two start. I have stopped by this Wendy's on many occasions being as I work in the area. Almost every time I stop there is something wrong with my order or the wait time is horrid and the service needs to be improved upon. I have been doing food service management for over 20 years so I know the quality and service received at this location is uncalled for. Upon my last visit today I only ordered two half sized salads. I payed for my food at the first window as normal and pulled to the second window. There I sat for over 15 minutes waiting on two salads. During the wait not one person came to the window to inform me there would be a wait and when they did come to the window it was to hand me my order and the lady that opened the window quickly stated "Sorry you waited" and closed the window quickly I'm guessing in fear I was going to say something or from poor training. If they had came to the window from the start and stated something to the extent of "Sir we are waiting on fresh chicken for your salad to cook, would you care for a drink while you wait" or something to that extent I would not have been mad at all but the way they handled the process really angered me. If my team at any place I managed would have caused a wait like this or handled a customer in that way they would have went home with a write up. Until I see this location improve upon it's service and better reviews between here and yelp I fear today will be my last visit. I called and placed a complaint over the phone with the customer help line now lets see if I receive any calls back about...
Read moreStep aside, five-star steakhouses—because Wendy’s in Goldsboro just flame-grilled their way into my heart and taste buds with the speed of a NASCAR pit crew and the flavor of a gourmet food truck blessed by the fast food gods.
I walked in craving something simple. I walked out questioning my life choices—like why I hadn’t come here sooner. The fries? Golden, crispy miracles. The burger? So juicy it should come with a snorkel. And let’s not forget the Frosty—a frozen delight so smooth and satisfying, I was halfway through it before realizing I’d emotionally bonded with it.
The staff? Polite, efficient, and smiling like they knew I was about to meet my meal soulmate. And the drive-thru? NASA should study how quickly they got my order out. Blink, and you’re handed a bag of edible happiness.
Even the napkins felt like they were folded with love. I’m not saying this place changed my life, but I left feeling like a better version of myself—one with a full stomach and mustard on my shirt.
Big shoutout to Wendy’s in Goldsboro for delivering consistency, quality, and laughs with every bite. It’s clear this crew takes pride in their food and their service. And just so you know, D & D Pest Control Co. swings by the area regularly while serving customers in Eastern North Carolina, which means we’ll keep making pit stops here for fuel of the beefy kind. See you again soon—and...
Read moreWhat a real mess of Wendy’s franchise and an even worst management team, purchased on 29 November 2024 @ 07:18 PM. First they couldn’t find my order in the drive thru when we asked 3 times. I said cool I’ll come inside and show my receipt. The retaliation by this team is insane. I came In and magically my order was ready at the counter I thanked them and took (sealed bag) and frosty. As were driving home I ate the fries and moved on to burger took a bite and it was missing the burger patty and the bacon! Also there was no spoon in the bag for the frosty. Management mocked me when I got back and said the spoon was missing. Manager was smart and said they are in the counter behind you. Mind you every single time I’ve ordered at any Wendy before they were in the sealed bag. Took asking for a new frosty 3 times to get one, since they done I had was 75% melted....
