Double Buck Coffee — Restaurant in Goldthwaite

I don’t usually write poor reviews for small businesses, but this was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this place is the only place to grab specialty drinks in Goldthwaite. My daughter oftentimes likes to go here and grab anything from an iced coffee or a lemonade. Today, her and her friend went in during the afternoon, maybe around 4-5. She got a smoothie and her friend got a coffee. the total was $18. That is absurd. My daughter said the girl working didn’t even speak to them, much less greet them. The “coffee,” they got was milk. Recommended by a local, and we’re NOT disappointed. Coffee and tea options plentiful and preferable to Starbucks/chain brands. Indoor seating area comfy, dog friendly, and inviting with fun merchandise/ boutique items a plenty. Outdoor morning seating is shaded and right across from courthouse which provides for decent people watching. Service by two lovely ladies 5 star+ (friendly and helpful). Food options limited (yogurt parfait, egg/sausage biscuits) before neighboring tavern opens at 11. Street parking (parallel, and diagonal- side street could accomodate trailer) available with lovely artist shop a couple doors down....

When I stepped inside I was greeted with a fresh and clean space filled with the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee. I could see a sneak peek of the gifts available from the mercantile shop opening soon. I was greeted by the owner and her friendly staff. When I went to pay the technology options worked flawlessly. A point system tied to your phone number and also cash app options. The coffee had just the right amount of sweetness and flavor, it was blended to perfection and I wasn't left with a flavorless block of ice at the end.
