Gauche atmosphere, friendly staff. Everything.. and I mean everything is drastically over priced for the quality served.
As a nitpicky bone with the place... why charge for each individual cup of coffee? I wasn't told until I wanted my 2nd cup about each charge. I don't drink other things... the waitresses spilled most of my 1st cup and never refilled it just left it on the table for me to drink spilled into the saucer. The coffee was not very good as it was made at the beginning of the day and just left there ... definitely not worth 1 cup price let alone 2. It's extremely cheap comparably to many of your other items. Seriously, I've had better coffee out of an MRE...fix your capitalism on that one ...ya already charge 30-40 a plate of food and if people really want a cup at the end of their meal they aren't likely to get 2 cups and if you're so concerned about turnover just inform them there's a hustle & flow charge if they sit over 30 min from receiving it.
Your "Salad". It was a bag of spring mix with store bought croutons and 2 cherry tomatoes ....the house soup was obviously frozen reheated the next day in a steamer tray. The Ribeye wasn't cooked properly (Even had the wrapping of the garlic butter still left on top of the steak), vegetables were clearly heated in a bag with garlic butter slabbed on and thrown into a nuker. Firecracker Shrimp were drastically over sauced where it just looked like a pile of pickle relish on top of popcorn shrimp. Honestly, even for CoVid a lot of it seemed like it lacked the desire to try.
It's a place that desperately tries to be fancy to appeal to people with money but lacks a strong appreciation for its own industry and customers. It's just really poor quality production served at almost ludicrous prices to make you feel above others who go to McDonalds. This place has skated by purely on its namesake and cajun root food .... but gave...

The decoration is extremely outdated, THE furniture was out dated. It’s RIDICULOUSLY TOO QUITE. Even the BAR AREA WAS SILENT. Full of people BUT SILENT! It smell like Old people when you first walk in, NOT Food But OLD PEOPLE SMELL. Appetizers was VERY BLAND (we are talking about a south Louisiana restaurant that don’t know how to season food. they used NOTHING but PURE SALT, NO OTHER SEASONINGS! Everything don’t need SALT, SEASONINGS YES, NOT SALT. They went way overboard with the SALT! I order the soft shell crab, ALL SALT, YUCK! The blackened catfish was AWFUL, IT WAS FISHY, All you taste was the PAN it was grilled in, GREASE, A very FISHY taste! The grilled shrimp was DRY & NO SEASONING. The GUMBO was SOUP NOT GUMBO! The The loaded Potatoes On the inside was dry an Blended. Idk, it was Weird an NASTY!
The waitress was very nice an did an amazing Job. I should of went with her suggestion. She told me to get the CrabCakes. Oh well, I won’t be coming back to that restaurant. It’s wayyyy overpriced an food is AWFUL.
Normally my husband an I goes to Mike Anderson’s EVERY FRIDAY AT 5:30pm and Rack up a bill for about $165-$220 easy. ALWAYS good DRINKS, AMAZING OYSTERS, AMAZING SHRIMPS, CRABS, FISH, ETC.. I MEAN EVERYTHING is always sooo GOOD. Always GREAT vibes, NOT extremely QUITE. We will never try to venture off an try another restaurant again! NOPE. Normally my husband an I will sit at Mike Anderson’s for 2+hrs relaxing, Eating, laughing, GOOD VIBES!
But at SNO steak & seafood we LEFT 56 mins later! Husband an I both had plates with picked over food, Half a plate of Food still left on the plates. It was AWFUL, forcing OURSELVES to try an eat to get our money’s worth, and when asked did we want TOGO boxes, WE SAID “OH hell NO! It was AWFUL experience!...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed. We were meeting family for a birthday dinner and came straight to the restaurant off the road from a 9 hour drive from Florida. Customer Service was completely disappointing. We arrived 21 minutes late for the reservation and the party that was there was already seated. We were told due to a 30 minute policy (mind you we were 21 minutes late) that we would have to be seated separately 30 minutes later. Granted we ended up waiting 15 minutes, it is still disappointing that we could not join our party. When we were sent to be seated, they accompanied us to a table not near our family (it was four of us btw). There was an empty table right behind our family and we then asked to be seated there. At that point we were then seated near our family. On top of that we were charged their service charge (gratuity) for having a party over 6 people, granted our family of 4 was seated after our initial party was already seated. I don’t think that’s fair for us to be charged the additional fee when we may have been close to them, but seated separately still.
Also, service was extremely slow. Another family that had a large party just as large as ours, was seated after us. They were served much faster. They received their food before we even ordered food.
Update in Response to Owner: Of course, no apology. I can understand not being able to accommodate a larger party as I was not informed of the initial count. We were family that like I’ve stated, just got off a 9 Hour car ride from Florida. Even if you could not accommodate the larger amount of guests, with us being separate, I do feel as if my family of four should not have been charged the service fee. Neither here nor there though. It has been paid. I just wanted to share my...
