El Cazador — Restaurant in Gooding

The food wasn't bad but what really disappointed me is that their vegan menu isn't vegan at all. It's VEGETARIAN. I ordered the vegan chimichanga and was really suspicious when I got what looked like actual cheese and sour cream on my food. Having been vegan for a few years you can just tell but I decided to try it anyway. When I asked the waiter if it was regular cheese he told me it was. I'm lactose intolerant so this is a big deal to me. Don't advertise something as vegan when it's clearly not. They were prompt about getting me another platter without any dairy products which is why I didn't give them 1 star. But I did start feeling ill shortly before they brought me the second dish because I had eaten a few bites of the first chimichanga trusting that it was vegan as it stated...

I want to like it! Everyone one here told me how good this place was. I disagree... a Monday or a Friday you should get the same flavor, service and attention (Experience). People pay you as a restaurant for nourishment and or replenishment they spend their money in hope that they will get what they paid for. Maybe they are feeling lazy and don't want to cook, maybe they want the experience of enjoying something different or the same, ect.. Literally the worst chile relleno I've ever had in my life. I am from California and have grown up with plenty of Hispanic friends and neighbors and have enjoyed their food and company---I am sure they'd feel the same. I don't have what it takes to ever order chile relleno from this establishment again, but a helpful hint for the folks at El Cazador: don't serve chile relleno drenched in oil, especially if that oil is vegetable oil, canola oil, or something else culinarily unappetizing.
