Mulligan’s Tap House — Restaurant in Gooding

I found this place from Google maps. It looked fun and figured it would be worth the extra 15 minutes of drive time. Was not disappointed! I wasn't sure what drink to get. The bartender asked what flavor I was going for. He quickly gave me two tasters and some recommendations. I was really impressed by the generosity. Drink in-hand, I tried the Reuben and loved it. The fries weren't much to write home about, they were similar to In-N-Out fries. I'm addicted to the beer battered type or tots. Anyway, there are yard games and events, a nice patio, horseshoes, and little putt putt golf sets available by request. Overall cool vibe (decor/entertainment), generous service, and nice people. I'm glad I did...

Very disappointed! A tap house with 16 handles, and not a single Idaho beer????? Food was Ok, not great. They have good fries, but were out of many many things! Pet peeve of mine, they have a different price for cash or credit that is not listed on the menu. It's not listed anywhere until we received the bill....

Amanda didn't ask if I was done with my sandwich, just took it away. Just because we didn't want dessert, doesn't mean we didn't want another beverage. I guess that's not an option here??

Saturday night, with karaoke on the patio. Our server sat with her family while her sibling (?) sang. I had an empty beverage. We did have a table of 9. Our food came out plate by plate over an hour...Some food had sat waiting to come out and got cold ...Most of our food was room temp and not good. I've tried this place a few times, the only thing safe on the menu is chicken strips and fries. Don't waste your time or money. Unless you like karaoke and chicken strips. Oh yea hopefully you are only a party of one....maybe you will get your chicken strips in less than 30 minutes. I will...
