If you live here, you probably already know, so skip this.

If you are passing through, don't let the bar and grill (seemingly heavy on the bar) pass you by! We nearly did. Once again, this was recommended by the lady at the front desk at the Comfort Inn.

The inside is eclectic, a bit like Cracker Barrel's older, cooler cousin. Our waitress made recommendations when asked and was friendly without being overbearing. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner.

Since we were eating dinner with kids, I couldn't speak to the adult drink quality, but everything else is stellar! I personally recommend the Crazy R burger or (per my son) the popcorn chicken - which was more like giant popcorn chicken than anything I've seen. It was quiet aas a ghost town, no one but the staff were there. Sad to see days like this in middle America, I remembered hustle & bustle the last time I was there, I ordered the Crazy R burger which came with grilled onions, and an order, of all things, chicken fried bacon(say what? in the Stewie Griffen voice) both orders were hot and fresh. I couldn't believe the chicken fried bacon came with a side of sausage gravy, that alone made my day😁 The bartender was awesome she had my food & drink order in a flash. and the cook turned out to be the owner, my order was to go, hot and ready in 10 minutes flat, I didn't stay long but the inside was pure Americana and they were playing the best classic rock music. Everytime we visit Crazy R's the service is friendly, efficient, professional and attentive to our needs. We have had the Bison burger which was flavorful, moist and delicious! The Crazy R burger is very satisfying and incredibly delicious! We have tried their tavern fish which leaves you longing for more but I must say their Ribeyes and Prime Rib are tender, seasoned to perfection, and excellently priced for the size and flavor! Very delish! The atmosphere will captivate you with all the fascinating antiques and good old hometown memorabilia!
