I went to Anacabe’s yesterday with a friend from town, and I was blown away. It’s one of those places you might overlook if you didn’t know better, but once you’ve been, you realize what a gem it really is.

The atmosphere has a no-fuss, down-to-earth charm, and the food is consistently excellent—comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. There’s something special about places like this that have been doing things right for years without all the hype.

Anacabe's is the best restaurant to open in the Winona area in my 30 years of existence. Back when I tried a philly cheesesteak from Joel in his food truck, I knew I'd be back continuously. I dont think it possible for him to make something bad. Everything on the menu is fairly priced, and made with real fresh ingredients. Homemade soups, batters, sauces, I wouldnt doubt if he cut down the trees to make the building. Such a cute and wonderful place. You stopped in there after getting a vehicle for my friend and it was delicious so yummy such a cute little place all of the decorations and the knick knacks on the walls were just absolutely adorable.
