Order#:J2Fc Usually I can count on golden China for quality food but today I was sadly proved otherwise. The good side my chicken fried rice was good but the rest of my order was a big letdown. my beef lo mein had zero flavor like everything was put into a bowl covered in peanut oil and microwaved until it was warm. My general Taos chicken was soggy and looked more like sweet and sour chicken drowned in peanut oil with light amounts of pepper on it the pot stickers I also ordered were pretty good. Now the other part of my order was my friends shrimp and chicken schezuan dinner order. A.) he didn't get an egg roll or soup, just rice. B.) his main dish looked more like they put it in the soup. I'm usually a the type of person who if they had a bad time I just won't go back for a while but I put down some serious cash for what I thought was going to be great food and got oiled soggy...
Read moreI feel like it's either a hit or a miss. I've eaten from here more during this pandemic than I ever have in the past...mostly because china king is closed for now. I have fallen in love with the sesame beef with white rice. However one day i ordered it and they accidentally gave me sesame chicken-I wasnt a fan at all. I disliked it so much I'll have to make sure its beef before I leave next time. The other dishes we have tried so far have been ok. Nothing has been so bad we wouldnt go back so far. I will say the cashier could be a tad more friendly and or upbeat? Not meaning to offend...I always feel like I'm bothering her and most times i say thanks for the food before she thanks me for being a customer. Sometimes I just dont feel very welcome...but I keep coming back for that sesame beef haha! All in all it's pretty...
Read moreI don't normally post reviews for any kind of business but this place does business in the worst way I've ever seen. We ordered one entree of beef broccoli with crab rangoons and a box of white rice to pick up, it was about 17 dollars. The small box of rice was barely half full and the entree box was maybe 3/4 full. The food is good enough but the protions are very stingy and pricy. We called to complain about how much food we got and the person was cranky and said that it was normal and the amount we were supposed to get. There is another resteraunt in town that offers the same meal for about 7 dollars and gives us full portions of food, generous even. Never eating at Golden China again.
Update: It's gotten a lot...
