Three stars for the view and the cleanliness and the amenities of the restaurant. This place is NICE and has an even more potential.

The food 😞 sorry to say it's not authentic and the simple dishes they didn't get right.

I ordered a taco with an enchilada and a relleno. The decent thing was the relleno but it was diminished by their sauce which was not very good. The taco was filled with poorly seasoned meat on a premade store bought taco shell, no lettuce or tomato. It did have a very small amount of cheese but it was not good.

I did try their chile Colorado sauce for their dish and it was very disappointing. You can tell a good place by the flautas but those came with flour tortillas and loaded with meat and white cheese sauce on them.

Nothing about the food was authentic or very flavorful for true Mexican food. This is because of the location in the US and the clientele but another spot that just isn't it.

Would I go again? Maybe, probably not. Would I bring my family here? Not at this time. Will I give it another chance in the future? Maybe. It really is sub par mexican food. It’s more like “mexican inspired”.

Is the food edible? Yes. It’s an upgrade from Taco Bell, But l'd pick fajitas or something very simple and easier to get right. With that said, The Guacamole was just mashed avocado with no salt or onion or jalapeño tomato or cilantro. Just mashed avocado………..

This place would EASILY be the talk of middle Tennessee if they upgraded their menu and quality with authentic sauces and better done fillings. I would gladly drive here and pay more money for fine authentic Mexican food because the place itself has the vibe, and look, and...

first time dinning at this place and the language bearer was just to much!!!!!!!! Should have left at that point but we thought we would give a try. They brought out the chips and salsa and they were old/stale and the salsa was old like it had been heated then cooled over and over again we should have left but we thought lets go with it so we placed our order still the language bearer was a problem but I thought we and the waitress had a good understanding of what we wanted.... About 30 min's later we received our food the other 2 patrons was okay with their meal but said they would not eat at this place again and for my meal the refried beans-ok, rice-ok, salad/guacamole-ok and the copped beef chimichanga - can't say how it was cause I received the chopped steak chimichanga instead... At the end I spoke to a male employee and he said I ordered the wrong one and that the chopped steak is a little tough but I didn't order the chopped steak I order the ground beef and I made it clear to the waitress and she said/appeared she understood but the male seem the same way........ So we will not return to El Corral Mexican Restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The appearance was clean but the restaurant had an...

I went there yesterday, and requested my carryout order be separated in different containers as I have a 40 minute drive home and didn’t want soggy cold food. I am also allergic to guac and I have given up requesting they don’t include it. Triple confirmed it with the hostess as she was ringing it up, and then she came back with my order only for it to be all together and soggy. She argued with me for 5 minutes and refused to have it fixed for me. I was very polite and respectful, and I normally can tolerate my containers leaking all over my bags (which they do every time I order from there), but I just can’t see myself going back there again. The poor customer service during this interaction was my final straw. While their food is normally great, if you value customer service, I wouldn’t go here. It’s been several poor experiences building up to me making this...

We quit going to any other Mexican Restaurants since we've discovered this gem!! The staff is always fun, friendly & on top of it!! The churros, Pollo tropical, taquitos, guacafajita bowl and their rice are my favorite dishes!!! We work in Gallatin and will literally leave work and make a trek an hour away in Gordonsville just to come eat here! We love it!! The food portions are generous, prices are super reasonable compared to other places and the best menu selection I've seen Let's not forget about the amazing margaritas! I have high standards at any other restaurant, if my mixed drink doesn't get me equally as buzzed as el Corral margs, then I'm out.... I'd rather go to el Corral lol Yall are the best!!

Driving through on a road trip up the East Coast from Texas we stopped at a gas station near here and were super hungry. Being from Texas, we eat a lot of both, Authentic and TexMex, and there is a distinct difference between the two. Assuming this was going to be more of an authentic experience, we were a bit let down. The food was bland, and lacked any flavor. The chips were hard and the salsa was watery. The place was packed and the locals seemed to be loving it. The bathrooms were dirty, our table was dirty as the floor had not been swept it a while. It was just not the best experience it could have been.
