My wife stopped by here about two months ago and bought a box donuts. I tasted them and thought those were the best donuts I've had. She stopped again a few weeks ago and got another box. They were pretty hard. We didn't complain because things happen and maybe we just got the last of the batch. We stopped tonight because my wife wanted me to check the place out. It is a neat establishment. We bought a box of donuts. I ask the employee if the donuts were fresh he said yes. I explained to him what had happened the last time. We got home and I dove into the box and sure enough they were hard enough to cut glass. My wife got one and agreed. I told her just call up and I'm sure they would make it right. Nope they wanted to argue and give excuses about over cooked donuts. It doesn't matter to me they were either hard or stale. I'm not a professional donuts maker. We just wanted a credit for the donuts. We live to far away to drive all the way back. No they wanted the donuts back. You know if you want to loose a customer this the best way to do it. Read moreThis place has sadly gone downhill, all due to the people working at the location. We used to love coming here but have had nothing but bad experiences. I preorder a donut cake for 9am pickup and when I arrived (9:05am) was told it wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for an hour and a half, no apology. Because I was headed to an event - where the donut cake was needed- I got a dozen glazed donuts (they did comp these) and told them if they hadn’t made the cake don’t bother as it was too late for the event. At 10:45am the manager, Molly, called me to let me know the cake was ready- again, no apology. I let her know I had told the staff we didn’t need it, but I did want a full refund. She said “okay” and hung up. I called back to let her know that was no way to treat any customer - hanging up, no apology, etc. - at which point she informed me I’d have to bring the credit card in for a refund. I asked why she hung up without telling me that and how she planned to honor the refund without the card, to which she said “sorry”… so disappointing and not our first bad experience with Molly. A female answered the phone and I told her where I was coming from and asked if they had pecan and butter crumb danishes. She said we had all kinds no worries. So I didn't have them hold my order. Then I preceded to ask about where their location was for clarification. She said let me put someone on the phone who can give you better directions that she didn't know. A very nice gentleman said let me walk outside so that I can here you and gave me all the information I needed. Upon arrival I asked for pecan and butter crumb danishes and was told "We do not have any". I explained everything mentioned above and the girl standing next to the you male worker who was waiting on me rudely said we must have sold out. REALLY...within 20 minutes from the time I spoke to the store. I am not buying that.
