I ordered through the Skyline Chili website for pickup because I was ordering a lot of food. This was the first, and last time, I will order online or at this location.
I order takeout from other fast food places all the time and this is the first time I've ever had a place say that I CAN NOT PICK UP MY FOOD THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH AND MUST PARK AND WALK INSIDE. All other fast food places have zero issue with handing the order out of the drive trough window. There was NO one in the drive through. The order was pre-paid through skyline site. So I'm thinking, maybe they want to verify that I'm the person who ordered or verify the credit card. That makes sense on why they would need me to come inside.
I have back issues so walking long distances is very painful. So I find a place to park in the busy lot. Painfully walk inside and ask the girl behind the cash register about my order. She didn't know but a lady at the steam table said it's over there and pointed to a small unheated unsecured shelf next to the front door. Read moreI’ve always enjoyed coming to Skyline for great food and friendly service, but my last visit on Sunday was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of a manager named Brynlee. During a busy rush, I witnessed her being unnecessarily rude and dismissive toward two young servers who were clearly doing their best under pressure. Instead of offering guidance or support, she spoke to them harshly and seemed more focused on criticizing than helping.
A good manager should lead by example, especially during hectic times, but Brynlee’s attitude created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for both the staff and customers. I could see the servers trying their hardest to keep up, and they didn’t deserve to be treated that way.
I hope Skyline takes customer and employee experiences seriously because a restaurant is only as strong as its team. I’d love to see a more positive and encouraging work environment...
Read moreService is HORRIBLE!!! Takes forever getting your food through the drive thru even when there is barely anyone dining in. The workers just talk with each other socially like you don't exist while your waiting for food that is basically already prepared. Its one thing getting not what you ordered but to wait 10 -15 minutes for your order and for it to be screwed up also, is absolutely uncalled for. The worst Skyline I have ever been to. I now go the extra distance on my lunch to Gold Star, and get my food right every time. And even though its much further away than Skyline, I'm able to get back to work faster than going...
