Last night my neighbors followed us there bc they had never been. Our kids had a lemonade stand and wanted ice cream. But when we got there it was raining so we got in the drive thru line. We ordered our 2 ice creams from our car and then let them know that the car behind us would be part of our order too. And that they would pay. A young man got on the mic and clearly was frustrated. I told him if it’s a big deal we can pay separate? No answer, then he came “marching” out to the drive thru line and asked my neighbors if they were ok paying for ours. Then we come to the window and we’re greeted by 4-5 employees just staring at us, like we just robbed a bank. As a young lady handed us our ice creams, the young man thought he should lecture us one more time about how “who ever is paying needs to be first in line next time”. I was pissed and told him that there won’t be a next time and that they are ruining the fun for these kids who just wanted to buy ice cream with their lemonade stand money they earned, which was in the car behind me. Sometimes just give people some grace and kindness. You are working in a fun ice cream shop… SMILE We should have let the kids get ice cream at UDF instead. But instead I wanted to take them...
Read moreThis will be the third time I have gone to Sprinkles. I will have to say while I enjoyed myself the first two times I went, this time I was very disappointed. It took two or three minutes for them even to take my order at the speaker. And there was only a couple cars in front of me. I ordered only one item and it took at least 20 minutes from the time I ordered to even get to the window. There was only one car in front of me at that time. If I could have pulled out and left I would have. I ordered a chocolate vanilla twist with sprinkles in a cup and it was already starting to melt before I even received it. I didn't have time to ask them to remake it as I was almost late to an event at the Goshen Library as it was. When I first got in line I had 35 minutes before it started. I had my money ready before I reach the window handed it to them and then left with my ice cream. Next time I can say I will definitely get out of the car to make sure they have enough people working before I even order. And make sure I have extra time to wait on it if I really want to go...
Read moreThe ice cream is always great and it's always served with a smile. The prices are totally fine. Still less than the competition even though they are a small "mom and pop" type business. Before you complain about the wait times in the drive-through, you have to consider that a lot of the workers are brand new to working so they've never dealt with the pressure of a drive-through window and they don't have the ease of a dummed down assembly line like McDonalds. And the line is always long because they are easily the busiest ice cream place in town. Shed a little...
