Mi Familia Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Graham

We visited Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant in Graham, TX for the first time today. It was during their lunch rush, but we were seated promptly and immediately tended to with a big basket of thick, warm chips and flavorful salsa. In addition, we ordered a large Queso con Carne. It was a large portion and delish! It definitely had a lot of meat! We ordered the Super Mexican Plate, Regular Mexican Plate and Beef Fajita Dinner. The Beef Fajitas were tender and flavorful. The tamales and cheese enchiladas brought back memories of Patio TV dinners! However, the tortillas were a huge disappointment! They were no different than the packaged store bought tortillas at Walmart. Other than that, the food was good. The service was great! I wish I would have taken a photo.... I wanted chicken cheese Quesadilla ( they are normally cooked? Yes? ) What I got was a cold soft tortilla with shredded chicken that was juicy and Mozzarella cheese....... 😒 It is not like any other Quesadilla I have ever ordered from any where else!!! Now normally I would not post such a review prior to contacting the manager but, this is not the first time I've had this happen!!! Once I ordered take out from there & my Quesadilla was made the exact same way. That time I spoke to manager and he assured me that is not the way they make Quesadillas & he would fix the problem.... I don't belive the manager knows what's going on when he's not there!........ my opinion they need a cook that knows what...

First time there. Chips and salsa were placed on the table quickly. Took awhile for our server to come over. Looked like they were having a meeting in the wait station We were there for lunch and arrived about 11:45, they weren't busy at all. Once our server came over, Patty, she was very nice. The food came out quickly. Very bland. The beef fajita was so tough, I couldn't eat it. I had to dispose of it in my napkin. The chicken was dry, but edible. The margarita was not good either. The crispy taco was good. Can't say we'll return. We did leave a $15 tip because we're nice like that and because there probably won't be any future tips from us. Sorry Mi Familia.
