Subway — Restaurant in Grand Island

I thought that the Subway on Webb Road couldn't be beat in the rudeness department, but this one definitely is a contender. The food was gross, I could have played a decent game of hockey with the bread, and the toppings were warm and slimy. But even that wasn't the biggest problem. I have worked for Subway here in Grand Island, and I know that there's certain standards they have concerning customer service. My husband went back up to the counter after we got seated, simply to ask for a bag. And to show them that they had made our son's sandwich wrong, even after we had repeated his order twice. The store manager, I believe her name was Tammy or something (kinda tall and chubby with lots of tattoos) proceeded to tell my husband that he had no right to complain (which he wasn't, he was just showing them what had happened and asking for a to go bag), then she decided to get one of her minions involved, speaking very loudly about how she was sick of "people like him" lying . Our son is severely Autistic and 4 years old, he has behavioral health issues. Social anxiety being one of those issues. Our son had started crying and rocking back and forth, covering his ears and hitting himself, and your store manager and her employees were not only staring at our son and pointing, the manager and her one employee started talking very loudly again about how our son was a "nuisance and disruptive", how they couldn't wait until we left, and how "his issues were nothing a good spanking couldn't fix ". They then started talking very loudly again about another customer who had called and complained earlier that day about the food and service and how that person "was insane and could go back to Mexico". The behavior of this manager and her employees was insane and completely disgusting, I thought maybe I was just being overly sensitive, but when I overheard other people in the restaurant talking about how horrible the manager and her employees were behaving, I realized that it wasn't just me. I know for a fact that this manager is best friends with the store manager of the Webb Road location, Shelly, and that definitely explains some of the behavior, because birds of a feather, but corporate needs to get a reign on these two cruel, rude, and intolerant people. I spent 30 of my hard earned dollars for bad food and even worse treatment. And that's never going to sit right with me. Especially their treatment of my son, who not only has to fight every single day his own mind, he has to face ignorant and intolerant people like your manager and employees. You people should be ashamed...

Those guys work very fast. They are multi-task, they work so fast and you dont have to wait for so long. No matter if you are inside or by the car thru.

The area is very clean also. 😉

I appreciate the fresh groceries that they have for make the orders, they bake their own bread everyday right there🥖🥖😍😍😋. I like the varieties that you can find here for make your oder.

Went through drive-thru...ordered 2 subway clubs with extra meat, provolone cheese & some extras. Drove to window to pay, young boy came to window & said no provolone cheese so I said swiss was fine, he said we don't have swiss either. Finally settled on white American cheese. Got home with sandwiches & barely any meat in them & I paid for extra! Very aggitated with those young men in there, charging people for what they order, but not giving them what they order. Management really needs to do something about this as this the 2nd time this...
