Updated Review: My hubby was craving poutine and a burger and this is the only place he knows of that has it. The place was packed with quite a line to place our order. The girl at the counter was friendly and put in our order with practiced ease. She gave her full attention to the customer in front of her and moved on to the next with the same level of welcome and energy. It took a bit for our order given how busy they were but they churning out meals and drinks in a steady flow. We ordered to-go as we had already planned to and were glad we didn't have to try to find an open table. This was "night and day" a much better experience than our initial visit which was quite awhile ago. The Classic Poutine was everything my husband was looking forward to and he enjoyed his Mushroom Swiss Burger. I ordered the Handlebar Burger minus cheese but added Green Chili with a side of Onion Rings. It was good, not fantastic but okay. We don't bike or drink beer which are the draw here so we aren't the targeted customer profile. It won't be our go-to burger place but we will likely return sometime. ******** Previous review : The view from the overhead outdoor patio is amazing! According to my husband the poutine is rich and makes you want another bite and another. Other than the seemingly addictive poutine the food was filling but not very tasty. The veggies for the burgers are fresh and the brioche bun is great. Come for the view and possibly the atmosphere.

The best burgers and the best beer in Grand Junction, by a long shot. Trust me I've tried them all. I'm one of those beer snobs from the front range, and I almost gave up hope in ever finding similar quality dining here. When I saw this place was opening I had a glimmer of hope; then I read all the terrible reviews and I thought "dammit!" But I gave it a try anyway, and it was everything I had hoped. The bad reviews must be from people who prefer Denny's. Yes I know, the atmosphere is a bit untraditional for this side of the wild Wild West, but it's about time we get some culture in the Junk. Set your preconceived notions of what dining should be like, sit down and just enjoy your freaking experience for something new. I had no issues with service or food quality, and the prices are much cheaper than what you would pay for a similar place anywhere else. People just expect everything to be priced like McDonald's here I guess. Well if you want McDonald's, stick with the fast food. All in all, great burgers, great beer, I will become a regular from here on out. There is hope for you grand junction! They even have boneyard! The only time I’ve been able to find this amazing beer in Colorado was at gabf. Whoever buys the beer knows their stuff.

Above average burgers with mediocre service. Just finished a trail run at McInnis so we were hungry. Ordered pickup 20 min out and upon arrival, was told that our order would be a few minutes and would be placed on the counter when ready. Went outside to wait and checked the counter for the order every few minutes. 10 min later, an order was on the pick up counter and I knew the order on the counter was mine because I saw the receipt next to the bag. 4 minutes roll by waiting in front of my order at the pick up counter with multiple staff walking by. So far no one had asked me if I was picking up, even though I was in front of the pick up counter or even had said hello. Had to flag a staff member down who walked past me multiple times to get my order. There was an order and a person waiting at the pick up counter. Why no one bothered to talk to me until being flagged down is beyond me. Next time I need a burger, I would have considered Handlebar, but with the service, not sure if being ignored will be worth it. Will go back a second time to do pick up again to give them another chance to increase their rating to 4 stars from 3.
