Eva's Mexican Food & Taqueria — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

The food is pretty basic here. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, was pretty empty. We got greeted right away and our server took our drinks right away and brought us some chips and salsa . She checked on us regularly.We got the Quesobirria and my husband got the Parillada, we split a tostada de camarron. It was all ok tasting but the sides he got were very small, that of a toddler serving. I got the agua de pina and that was amazing! Thought we'd give this place a try since we always go to the taco place on BeltLine across from Jack in The box. We're gonna stick with the other place. I can only comment on the torta, which was too salty and overpriced. It was big, but quantity doesn't mean quality. They also brought us two tamarind drinks, when I had asked for water. We told the lady, and she took it back and brought me water. We went to pay, and they had charged us for two. There are different type of menudo. I asked for a sample to see if it was the kind I like. Sadly it was not, when I told the waitress that I did not like the menudo. She got offered, and got an attitude which ruined the dining experience. The waitress did not check on us from the point forward and when she did come to give us the bill there was no eye contact and a very forced smile. The food had no taste.
